Your introduction to hard working utility SxS with strong off-road capability and legendary RANGER comfort features at an excellent value. Work and play all day with 32 HP, 1,500 LB towing and 10" clearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't Be Happier! I did quite a bit of research and ended up purchasing this unit with a top, front & rear LED lights, & the Power steering option, along with the 3500lb cable winch. This UTV is great and has handled everything I've thrown at it from pulling downed trees from the mountainside, to hauling supplies. It is plenty fast enough for me and I use it quite often on my 40 acres of mountainside rural Virginia. The dealer was great, competitive pricing, great communication on the status of the extras and they delivered it to my home without any added fees! Highly recommend both the model & the dealer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basic and does the job! After a tough hunting season last year due to not being able to easily reach my spot, I had to find a solution fir this year and going forward. I started to check out various side by side options and narrowed down to just the simple and basic 500. It was a good value and is capable of whatever my needs are so far. I routinely fill the bed with feed bags and tools and often tow a trailer around the property. I have no issues at all and I am very happy that I’ve bought it. It’s given me a lot of freedom to access the property and not scratch up my truck. I sometimes wish I would have bought a crew for the extra space but that need in minimal. I thought that possibly the 500 might be too small of an engine and have yet to be disappointed in its performance. I went basic and it worked for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love My Polaris Ranger 500! I use my Polaris Ranger 500 to do chores around my property. The Ranger is easy for me to get in and out of and it is easy to operate. I'm a senior who loves working around my property. I don't get around like I used to. I love doing yard work but it was becoming difficult for me to get my yard work done. I am not willing to give up things like tree clean up, brush cutting and bush trimming. My Ranger 500 gets me where I need to work with all my tools and provides a comfortable spot to rest in when I need to as well are a place to put all the cuttings, trimmings and even firewood! I don't have to unload it either. The dump bed is so nice and handy. I'm now starting to make a dent in the amount of clean up I want to do. There are so many things I can do with Ranger 500. It's also fun to drive!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too noisy, but ok otherwise I bought my Ranger about 2 months ago after purchasing 60 acres of land adjoining my house. Land includes some wet, swampy land. The Ranger has served me well and has not bogged down or gotten stuck in the mud yet. My only complaint is that the Ranger is too noisy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs so much better than my cub cadet I like the ranger. At times I have to turn the key several times to start it but it runs great. I wish that a rear view mirror was standard equipment as it is a safety thing. We bought one online later. We had a wind shield put on it and love it going through bushes. In the summer I think I would like it without one so I get wind to cool me but have no place safe to store it. I wish also that it had a hand bar by the drivers seat because getting out with the door mesh in the way can catch one’s foot causing a fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ride I picked up my ride the end of January, I have used it nearly every day on the property. I have hauled wood, tools, cinder blocks and concrete in it. It has not failed me. I have a 6.5x12 trailer that I have moved with it and have no doubt that it will pull it loaded. Great machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still evaluating Now that we have had constant snow cover for several months,[since mid november], I am quite disappointed in the traction. In 4wd the back is very slippery, doesn't really seam to help move vehicle along. I've also had 2 flat tires, one the very first day I brought it home. The polaris service couldnt find the leak so put in a tube. Now another tire keeps going flat with no apparent leak.I will pull it off and return to dealer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little more attention during the build process Overall I'm very happy with the machine, but as I installed wiring to support operation of a winch, I found several primary wire bundles resting directly on the rack and pinion mounting hardware. These would certainly have led to electrical failure in months/years ahead. Also, electronics (fuse block and ECU) are mounted directly in line with mud/water spatter. Recommend, as I did, installing a guard to deflect the inevitable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Game Changer We bought a new property in the southwest Texas Hill Country in May 2019. Those who don't know the temp. reaches the mid 90s and 100s by late June. Without the Ranger we would not have had the property ready to hunt. We have used the Ranger to haul, tow and just to get us from one side to the other of the property setting up hunting sites. The Ranger was a game changer! Sept. 28th is opening day for archery and we are ready!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonable Medium Duty Work UTV We have put our 2018 Ranger 500 through the initial paces, and found it to meet our needs as expected. We have encountered a few minor mechanical issues so far that the dealer has not yet remedied, but nothing that has made the machine non-operational (bad alignment, coolant consumption, shifting problems). We have some concerns about long term dependability, but we will continue to use the machine until it fails us. Our biggest complaint so far is that leaving the dealer in stock condition, the unit does not do much more than go from A to B. We have had to add an additional several hundred dollars worth of accessories to provide what we consider to be the minimum in storage, lighting, electrical capacity, etc. The stock bed offers no tie down points, and the interior/dash is mostly wasted space as there is no means to secure any items there either, except the very small glove compartment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy Purchased to work around farm and for fun. Perfect size for my needs. Great engine and drivetrain. Love the turf mode for work aroun the yard. Had a small handling problem but the dealer took care of it and everything is fine. Wish accessories weren’t so expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from satisfied Working with the staff at CycleWorks has been a positive and helpful experience. My experience with the vehicle itself has been somewhat limited during these winter months that have been bitterly cold. Generally I am fairly impressed with the performance of the Ranger 500. There has been some issue with overheating while plowing snow and the gear shift is not as precise and responsive as I would like it to be. Other than those issues, at this point I am happy with our selection of this UTV. Would be helpful to have power assisted steering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too noisy Vehicle is too noisy. Shifting gears awkward and transmission slow to respond. Also, changing the oil more difficult than on my old Ranger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great work machine...but not without flaws... This buggy is great around our farm...it is a workhorse...however, it appears to be 'missing' most of the time (engine running rough) not sure if that is because it is a 2 cyl or not...but it is not as smooth sounding as our 2006 Polaris Ranger 500. The shifter is missing detents--was driving the other day with what I thought (and saw) was L, but it was actually in High. Have tried to reverse to terrible grinding sounds due to not being EXACTLY in R. Again, our 2006 Polaris Ranger 500 (the main reason we bought the new one was how great the old one was) does (and has never) had these issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok At 80 miles the engine had to be rebuilt. Still has a clanking metal sound when you start it. Has a growling noise from the drive system when you go down the road. I was told it’s normal

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Great Machine I purchased this machine 4 months ago. It hasn’t had any problems. Has all the power and comfort I need for its intended purpose. My primary use is retrieving deer, preparing tree stands, and dragging/mowing food plots. Would have given 5 stars if it had the pulse wiring system for accessories. I love the size of the midsized utv. Our woods has tight trails and it fits perfect and plenty of power. Also fits into a 6x10’ open trailer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fun I've had the ranger for about 3 months and really enjoy it. It handles well on and off the road. The only complaint I have is the amount of dust that comes into the cab. I recently purchased a rear window and this seems to be helping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine This has been an excellent purchase. Used almost daily for working on the farm and hunting. Plenty of power with a great ride. The 500 is the perfect size. Big enough for work but small enough to get in tight places in the woods.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Satisfactory I've been very pleased with the vehicle's ability to navigate hilly and muddy terrain. I've not been pleased with the vagueness of gear selection and a persistent odor of gas.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor start Bought this to do work around the property, hunting, and a few rides on the trail. Bike works good once it gets started. VERY VERY hard to start when cold, sometimes simply will not start. Not a lot of power but understood given only a 500. When it starts, good value for $$

RANGER EV

Starting at $16,499 CA MSRP

Built for an ultra-quiet, electric ride with RANGER off-road capability. Get the job done in peace with 35 HP, 1,500 LB towing and 10" clearance.

2019 RANGER EV AVALANCHE GRAY is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid stable ride Got a side-by-side with the small cargo bed. Perfect for harvesting pumpkins, hauling work materials, etc. in areas I don't want to trample with a larger vehicle. The EV aspect is great! One less IC engine to maintain, and in my area the electric power includes a lot of hydro and renewable sources. Once I get my own solar up, it will be nearly free to drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Polaris makes an electric UTV I bought the Ranger EV 3 months ago. There was only 3 in the state of Texas. I went to Houston. It was well worth it. This UTV is perfect for use in my Rv park and checking fence on the ranch in the back. Lots of grease zerts for maintenance and frame is well designed for access to batteries. No more concerns with air filters, fuel filters, oil filters, gas cans sitting around or gas going stale. I can say after getting the suspension lubed this machine is super stealth. I ride up on tenants without them hearing me coming. I ride through the woods and see way more wild life, the 4 legged kind. I use it every day. It has over 60 hours now in 3 months. I put in on the charger at 35% about every 10 days or 3 times a month. Plug it in at 9pm and it is ready to deploy by 6-7am. I have shown it to lots of people. Polaris should send me a commission.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Polaris EV So far my EV has done as asked. I enjoy sneaking through our woods as quiet as the tires rolling. I have hauled 300# of corn in the back with 2 fat guys up front and mission accomplished. There is a lot of spots that will collect mud and that concerns me..I am worried about carrying the charger on board and it constantly getting wet but we will see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Machine I bought it about 8 months ago and I have not been disappointed. The battery life is very long and it has lots of power. I would have rated it 5 stars except it is noisier in 4 wheel drive. It is very quiet in two wheel drive, but makes a grinding noise in 4 wheel drive. Deal said it is a common noise that will not affect performance, but I have not owned it long enough to know for sure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electric Side By Side Even though our brand new 2021 Ranger EV has quite a few issues from very loud metal on metal squealing when the motor is cold, the sub par performance of the on board charger, and erroneous readings from the stock battery state of charge monitor we would likely buy it again knowing what upgrades need to be done to make these units work well. If the Polaris engineers would just tackle some of the issues this would be at the top of the list of off road side by sides.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great power and utility, mediocre fit and finish I bought this sight unseen during the current pandemic, based on many online reviews and videos. The electric power is amazing and is the reason I chose this vehicle. I use it for many jobs around our ten acre property and have been amazed at how useful and powerful it is. The ride is great and no emissions or engine noise is just wonderful. I only need to charge it once a week and even then it's still at three-quarters fully charged or so. I use it daily. The dump bed is very effective and can dump a full 500 lb load easily. Dislikes: the mechanical quality is great (although the turning circle is very large!) and it's well built but the cabin quality is very poor. The switches are cheap and look like something from the seventies. The plastic panel holding the charging indicator and the headlight switch is roughly cut, fits poorly, rattles, and appears to be held in place with drywall screws, one in each corner. There is no odometer or speedometer so I had to add an inexpensive unit I purchased on amazon and required only power (gps operated) - come on Polaris, why so cheap to leave this off? The charging is too aggressive and causes battery boil over so I had to change the algorithm (found it online) to slow the charging. Another cheap-out is the lack of a charging outlet. To charge you have to open the hood and fish out a power cord to plug into your extension cord. I replaced this cheap approach with a panel mounted male power connector which I can easily and safely plug into. Also, the manual is just the gas ranger manual and most of it doesn't apply. There is no detail in the manual on the specifics of the ev model (for example, the charging algorithm, when to charge, how low to run the battery, etc) . Very poor. I would recommend the purchase and I like the utility of the vehicle but I expect more for the high price of the electric version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is comfortable ride, but clunky I've had my EV 9 months. it squeeze in the drive train sometimes. it has a slight clunk occasionally. putting it into reverse for a few feet, usually correct the clunky drive. the tires are not very aggressive, so muddy hills are sometimes not possible. the ride is great! seating and storage are good. Lights are too bright, it would be nice to have dimmers or red light alternatives. Also have some control over the rear lights being on all the time the key is on. This is a hunting vehicle!!, lights are not generally good.
Date published: 2018-06-01
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Reliability The controller unit went out after only 3 months and it took over two months to get the replacement part. It would have been much longer had Mountain Motor Sports not found the part on their own. Now after having it back for less then 2 weeks it went out again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All good except battery access Everything about the EV was as expected with the exception of battery access for maintenance. Checking and topping off water in the cells is rather difficult and time-consuming. A watering device engineered to enable efficient access to the cells and topping off should’ve been included with the vehicle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for around property We use the ranger for quite a bit from hauling rocks to pulling trailer with wood chips. We added the roof and front and rear windows from dealer I gave it 4 stars as I wish the dealer offered the central watering system ( I added it from a company) I did try the battery maintenance myself but it’s a real pain now it’s 5 min and there done! Love the quietness we can talk as we drive and have actually snuck up on deer and turkeys (not at same time) quality looks good did have some suspension squeaking but a little grease took car of that we have 10 hrs so far

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good machine for our purpose Our Ranger EV never gets more than a mile, or so, from our 35 acre farm, but we can use it many hours of the day and still have a good amount of charge left in the batteries at the end of the day. We mainly operate it in low-range, two-wheel drive and a couple hours of operation only drops the batteries to about 95%. This machine has loads of torque and will pull two adults up some pretty steep grades with no issue. My only complaint is that in medium and high range, this unit makes a little more noise than I would like. Has a pretty good hum to it. Have had the batteries drawn down to around 35% and they still change up easily overnight. I also wish the tail lights were switched with the head lights instead of being on anytime the main switch is on.
Date published: 2020-12-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low Maintenance I bought our EV Polaris early August 2019. Simply plug into a 110 outlet every 4 weeks. No gas, or other maintenance

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good reliable machine Good reliable machine. I would like to have the batteries easier to service and less gearbox noise.
Date published: 2019-10-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plenty of power I enjoy the ease of using my electric polaris but I absolutely dislike having to expose the engine by opening the hood to charge the batteries. Which also puts the hood in danger of cracking. The hardship of filling the batteries with water is a total design flaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it daily We are an Electric Utility and try to use EV units when we can. We purchased the Ranger EV as part of our EV commitment to the community and planet. So far the Ranger has performed as expected with no issues. It is fun to drive and we are looking to purchase additional units in 2020.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my Ranger EV! We bought this so that my husband would have an easier time getting around our property. He needed both knees replaced and couldn't walk well. This is one of the best things that we have ever bought. It helps us out a lot. We do not go off roading, just around our property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I imagined. I upgraded from an ATV to the Ranger EV to pull a field mower and run gear around my acreage and couldn't be happier. Because I have to drive it slowly when mowing I added an after market power steering unit. I wish it was a Polaris option feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from powerful for electric The big problem is there to many open crevices and opening that get mud in there. The bed has honey cones under it that just cant get cleaned. There must be something done about the design or panels that need to be added.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant quiet Power I use the EV on my farm and on my hunting property. It is very quiet and economical to operate. It has plenty of power to move myself and another man with ease. The range is very good on a charge. The only downside is every so often the battery cells need to be topped off with distilled water. You have to rig a hose to connect to a jug of water to fill all eight batteries. They are difficult to access for refilling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2019 EV Ranger Primary use is hunting, also use it for yard work! I live in Southwest Wisconsin, I have 700 plus acres with 350 feet of elevation change. The EV has plenty of power to climb steep slopes and plenty of holdback with the brakes to go down them. My only complaint with the EV is that it is much louder than my Huntve was!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Over all good vehicle We have 13 of them in service at our industrial facility. They are over all doing good. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome ride! Owned for 6 months and wanted to give it 5 stars, but it does have some areas to improve. Powertrain is 5 stars, ride is 5 stars, small rattles on the dump bed 3 stars. All the small rattles can be fixed by any mechanical owner. Would buy another one today!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should of bought this cart a long time ago I started with a golf cart 8 years ago. Then owned a Bad Boy Buggie for 5 years. I bought the EV about 4 months ago. No comparison!! What is amazing is how far you can go on a single charge. And that was my biggest worry. The high speed gear is great as well as the low speed gear for creeks and ravines. I use it for pig hunting and not spooking deer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet, versatile, and strong, this vehicle is it! I am in love with this Ranger EV! It will haul anything, including a trailer full of a cord of oak. It will sneak up on varmints or deer. It goes nearly everywhere.

RANGER 570 Full-Size

Starting at $13,499 CA MSRP

Proof that serious off-road utility doesn't have to blow the budget. It helps you do more and spend less.

2019 RANGER 570 Full-Size Sage Green is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 405.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what I need, but has some issues Bought my Ranger 570 full size over the summer. I'm pleased with it mostly, but there are a few things that a lacking or are problems. 1. My model didn't come with a winch plate. I had to buy an after market winch plate to install a winch. This should be standard feature on a UTV or an ATV. 2. Placing the gear into reverse is terrible, it consistently will not go into reverse smoothly. I have to play with the gear shift to ensure it goes into reverse; It still grinds until I hit it right. Could be just a linkage adjustment on this issue. 3. Loud metal on metal vibration is heard, might be the exhaust heat shielding. Hard to tell. Other than these issues, I am pleased with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a happy camper We bought this in April. Already we've had issues with the gas tank gauge not working properly. Reverse is difficult to get into from Park. Over the weekend the CV shaft fell out. We hear grinding, banging and smell hot brakes. We were told this model had upgrades and would do everything our previous 700 would do. Nope. Haven't seen that yet. We had our 700 for 10 years and never had half the issues the entire time we owned it that we are having now in the first 3 months. I will not buy a 570 again and I'm not sure I will go with the Polaris model again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros and cons I like the size and features. I do not like the clunkyness of the gear shifter and the difficulty in getting it into the correct gear.
Date published: 2018-10-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice machine needs a few improvments The items that need to be addressed to make it a great machine 1) the shift handle or mechanism need to be redesigned. 2) the machine should come with some type of mud flap in front of the back set of tires to keep the mud out of the battery and muffler area.

Being able to recycle the Polaris 800 Pro Steel cabs has been a big plus in terms of affordability. The 570 engine is Stout and has plenty of power and reliability. The powertrain is sturdy enough and easy to service. Problem areas would be the prop shaft, and other normal areas such as wheel bearings and clutching. All of which will need attention by 10000 miles at least. Overall though the machine is solid. Three of our 2017 machines now have over 1,500 hours on them now, and have been very good to us. Areas Polaris could work on these is on the engine air Inlet which draws in way too much dirt, the crappy unsealed splines on the front CV'S, they could also build a better prop shaft. The frame gussets crack in front of the rear wheels, but has never caused a frame failure. 5 or 10 more pounds of steel put into the frame in the rear would make a massive difference in its strength. We use these machines hard and they have held up pretty well. If the bean counters at Polaris would get out of the way and fix these couple areas there would be no reason to ever look at anything else. Also, Polaris needs to start building the Pro Steel cab again for these models , and needs to offer them with power steering, even 8f it's a rebadged ez steer kit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Budget 3 seater We bought our ranger to drive mostly dirt roads, rail bed riding and the occasional yard work for the bed. Fit and finish is disappointing. Wrinkle in a decal, sway bar link came undone and one of the front A arms can't be greased because the fittings are in the wrong spot, shifter as always on a Polaris is poor. You think you have the amazing Polaris warranty but be prepared to submit photos, lose your machine for X amount of days etc. because of an super easy fix low dollar part. You're probably just better off fixing it yourself if it's lower cost parts. The 570 is an amazing motor however and it's the best price point in the category. Polaris doesn't support much in the way of accessories, I believe that's on purpose so you'll move up a model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As described. Smooth ride I purchased this a few months ago. I'm happy with it, but wife doesn't like it very much. The seat height isn't adjustable so it's hard to control the throttle and maintain a steady speed if you're under 5' 6". I'm not sure if it's just my Ranger or not but when you accelerate in forward or reverse it's not very smooth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from average This full size 570 is in the old 800 chassie which is fine but the accessories options for it just suck compared to the xp chassies. So if you want any type of add ons I would go with the xp chassie. I cannot believe they would even offer this chassie any more with such few options

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dual purpose machine. I bought this Ranger about 3 months ago. I love it over all. It's tough, reliable and smooth riding in the roughest terrain. Only small issue is putting it into gear. It will show on the indicator it's in gear but it's really between gears. You have to get a feel for it. Otherwise at this early stage I love it.All the competition kept comparing their machines to the Polaris. I want the industry leader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have bought one of these years ago We purchased our Ranger 4 months ago just prior to my husband having foot surgery. I knew I was going to have to take care of our horse farm while he recuperated, and thought that the Ranger would be very useful for me. It has been a lifesaver in allowing me to be able to do so many chores; moving hay and feed, checking pastures, treating pastures for fire ants, checking fence lines after storms and the list goes on and on. My only negative is that shifting gears is sometimes kind of hard for me, it requires more force than I would have expected. And..... if I had to do it over again, I would have purchased the model of Ranger that had power steering. Otherwise, we are very pleased with our Ranger and expect to be able to enjoy her (Ruby), for many years to come. Yes.... we gave her a name.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noisy Generally quite happy with machine but is is noisy. Tried wearing ear protectors. Seat gets hot which is nice in cool weather but hot on warm days. Good work machine and great on logging roads. Plastic windshield I purchased is all scraped already just from cleaning water off. Someone told me I should have got a treated glass one. Dealer gave me a special spray to see if that would help but not effective at all. Fin scratches that reflect the sunlight are a bit bothersome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Base model is a solid performer! Super impressed with the overall capability of the full size 570. I own a trail building company and we have been hauling materials all over at 7000-9000 ft in elevation and while I wouldn’t call the 570 a rally truck if it was any faster my employees would probably get into trouble. We’ve also hauled many loads of dirt to cover up the rockier terrain. Great fuel mileage too. I’m a bit skeptical that all the plastic accessories will hold up over time but nothing broke this summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Have had my 570 full size for a couple of months, you get your money's worth, but would definitely get one with power steering in the future. Also, the full size is a bit cumbersome on narrow trails, power steering might help with this. Would recommend a windshield as well, unfortunately, the price of these is prohibitive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great ride, not so good if want any accessories I and my family love riding around in this vehicle. The downside are none of the accessories such as doors, windshields, enclosures etc are made for the round bars, everything is after market and just ok. The vehicle itself is great, has done everything we’ve asked of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Ranger 570 My Ranger has adapted well to country living, whether hauling sacks of feed, fencing tools or just driving to our other property. Handles well, and love that I can load feed sacks directly from the pickup into the box. Definitely surpasses our old ATV..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun for the price I bought the 570 full size at the end of October, just as the 2019 models came out. I bout the full size because it has three seats that comfortably sit myself, my wife, and our grandson. The Ranger has been surprisingly powerful and it has no problems operating at the 9000 foot level. It is easy to get in and out of and does exceptionally well in both snow and rocky trails. We have driven this machine offroad all day and never used more than 1/2 a tank of fuel. The fourwheel drive system is a little strange, but goes through everything. So far my only real complaint is that it has no kind of low gear for hill descent. If you go down a very steep hill the tranny goes into free spool and you only have brakes to slow you down- there is no gear or engine breaking. On the plus side the brakes on the Ranger 570 are extremely effective

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blew Apart As excited as we were to get our Ranger, we were extremely disappointed and concerned when our brand new unit left us stranded miles from home. We only had 120 miles on it. After finally getting to our dealer, we were informed that a bolt had come loose inside the belt housing and the clutch blew apart. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Took a week for parts and now waiting for the work to be done. Hopefully our future experiences will be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! We bought it for farm chores and fun. The machine has plenty of power and the dump bed works great for pitching stalls. Goes down the backroads and two track with ease. I love the seating for 3. Fits us all in just fine. Do yourself a favor and buy the windshield and roof. The dust and bugs are a killer without them. This machine has plenty of ground clearance to avoid being high centered in the ruts too

RANGER 1000

Starting at $16,999 CA MSRP

RANGER 1000 is built to deliver more capability, comfort and last longer, while delivering more value. Its engine delivers smooth power and low-end torque.

2022 RANGER 1000 Sagebrush Green is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 670.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loud Noise and Brake Issues After only a couple months of riding my brakes squeak so loud when i stop it's embarrassing and I barely even use the brakes. Also makes a loud clanking and squeaking noise while riding and the heat shield vibrates at certain speeds and is annoying to say the least. I'm also missing a bolt that holds the safety net on driver side. I sent an email out about 2 months ago and haven't heard anything from Polaris.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An awesome machine My ranger is primarily used on a hunting property to maintain feeders and hunting hogs at night. Sometimes just riding around on the ranch to check things out. It handles the hills with ease and the load (up to 500 pounds) doesn't seem to bother it at all. Power is there when needed but in a ranch environment I hardly ever get above 20 mph. Accessories such as light bar at night is great (more to come). Like the security the winch gives me but haven't had the chance to use it yet. Upgrades to come as I venture more into it (brush guard, read bumper, rear glass, cargo type lighting, etc). So overall it has been a great machine and look forward to many years of enjoyment with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Polaris 1000 Ranger So I bought a 2020 polaris 1000 Ranger.I love that it has a bucket and you can dump it with a lever. It has plenty of horse power.I pulled out some bushes with ease.I was on the trail today in wisc and I had the best ride.I seen a deer about 4 eagles and a couple hawks too.It handle very good hugs the trail.I wish I had more time to ride more. Also after you drive it your not all beat up either the machine handles the suspension. It also brakes very good and I like that wen you let up on the gas it slows down.It was the best value wen i was looking across the board.I would buy another Polaris in a minute.

Seems like polaris needs to find the issue and fix but they wont because its all about the money. I also own a 2010 that has is still going strong to this day no mechanical issue just normal wear tear i drive it more then the 2020 because i am afraid of it breaking down when out ridding

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Riding into the sunset with my Sunset Red 1000 After 4 months, enjoying the Ranger 1000 Premium. This is my first UTV. Glad I waited until the 1000 debuted. It has all the features I was needing for farm and ranch use. Have added the front and rear wind shields, top, front and rear HD bumpers, rear view mirror, and horn. All Polaris brand products. Only questionable quality concern is the shifting. Sometimes hard to shift into the correct gear. Not sure if this will get better with age or worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best work and play side by side I love the way the unit handles and especially the short turning radius. Great for doing chores. It has plenty of power and had performed flawlessly when carrying full loads of firewood. I have used it numerous times for hunting and I love the increased cargo area and the enclosed cab when the weather is bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very capable machine Within the few short months I've had it I've used the heck out of it. However, the real test is yet to come. We bought this for 1. Plowing snow, 2. Hauling stuff, and 3. for use camping. Had to buy a new trailer to haul it (our previous utility trailer was too narrow). The dump bed is a fantastic feature! The only complaints are the gear selector and the throttle. In a car/truck, park is always up (not down like on this vehicle) and the throttle is unpredictable. Never quite sure how much pressure to apply to get it to move.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ranger 1000 camo Thus far Ranger seems ok. Got to make sure you get in gear, it does not always just shift into Forward or reverse easy.? i am disappointed i did not buy glass windshield that opens up. It gets pretty hot in June/July , i'd rather run my 4 wheelers when its 85 plus degrees. But this fall and winter it will be nice working cows and hunting. As of now that is the only change i would make in the options i chose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk 2020 Polaris ranger premium I’ve had this for a little over an month and had to get the front diff replaced right away because of how noisy it was it still didn’t fix the problem and it’s an embarrassment to drive down the road. I wouldn’t recommend one of these to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for the whole family! We have almost 400 miles on our 2020 Ranger 1000 and are absolutely loving it! From trail riding to daily tasks on the farm it has been nothing but reliable. There are times when the extra speed and power of the XP would have been nice, but the low end torque of the SOHC 1000 works great for the chores on the farm. Serviceability has also been improved over the previous models, and I do most of my own service work so that is huge! So far I have no complaints and hope for years of fun out of my 2020 Ranger 1000!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good running not so great put together quality So far the machine has run great but I was missing an a arm guard and the driver side seat wasn’t fully installed correctly. The seat was just butt up to the frame instead of set into the frame via the guarding on the back of the seat. Not sure if they come to the dealers fully put together or not. Not very happy to spend that kind of money and not have a unit that’s fully installed correctly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deer lease truck Overall the Ranger is very nice. It does what it needs to. And has plenty of power and the room in the cab is nice as I’m 6’7” y’all and my knees don’t hit dash. There is o luv one thing so far that I would complain about and that is the flimsy storage boxes under the seat. I noticed they started to warp and push downward into the mounting holes from people sitting on seat and riding over bumps. NO they are not heavy people. They end up half pushed thru the brackets holding them up I’m afraid one of these days it’s gonna fall and all my stuff will end up getting spilt down the trail

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice advancement This my second Ranger. I had my first for 16 years and it was a great piece of equipment. I was hesitant to try a newer model. Boy was I surprised at the advancements. I love my new 1000 model. It's added features of engine braking, park locking, power steering and quieter running engine make this Ranger a treat to ride and work. I would recommend this model with no reservations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs Overall, I’m very happy with it. Fits two people comfortably. A large variety of options available for customizing it. Living up north, I chose the winter prep package because I want to be able to use it during the winter months and be comfortable in the cab. Hauls enough for work around my property. Nice and comfortable trail riding. Great for getting to/from Deer blinds, favorite bird hunting spots. And great for scenic rides in the fall colors. Plan to take it Ice fishing this winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice...Dependable.... I use my Ranger everyday as a short commute to my log yard. I like that there are many accessory options available for Rangers and have purchased a cab enclosure, mud / rock guards, and a snowplow package since taking delivery. I have previously plowed my driveway with a 52 HP Kubota tractor and was hesitant about the need for a plow on my Ranger. However, after our first 15" snowstorm I was very impressed with the plowing performance and happy I can be out of the elements while plowing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I purchased this unit about 4 months ago for use on a small farm. I use it for irrigation and spraying. The unit is quiet, has a nice ride, and is nimble and easy to get around with. I especially like the turf mode for getting around the farm with. The unit has a nice big normal battery which is easily accessable to connect my sprayer to. I wish it had doors like the Kawasaki Mule, the nets are a pain to close and open. I had nets on a past Ranger and it wasn't long before the plastic squeeze clips broke. I will be looking at getting doors if I can find some that are affordable. Based on the cost of adding doors I wish I would have purchased the Kawasaki Pro FXT which comes with really nice doors.

Not sure if this is a problem fixed by new decals or if they will tear the same way. I take care of my equipment and keep it clean the decals falling off has really disappointed me. I purchased the machine from Shoals Outdoor Sorts (Florence, AL.) I asked the representative at the dealership about any special offers he failed to mention anything about the “Hero Advantage” when I called back and questioned about it the representative did not know any of the details about the offer and asked to call me back when he responded back he informed me I got a better deal than the “Hero Advantage” and tried to sell me more warranty on top of the extended warranty I already purchased.

RANGER XP 1000

Starting at $22,599 CA MSRP

The standard for off-road utility with an unmatched combination of power, torque, comfort, convenience and brute strength. Make no compromises.

2019 RANGER XP 1000 EPS SAGE GREEN is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 1416.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from good ride worst investment that I have ever made. It has spent more time on the back of a trailer ( being taken back to the dealership) for repairs then actually driving the dame thing. ps they still haven't fixed it yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need a better bang for your buck I’ve owned it for a few months. Put 600 miles on it. I like it but it is lacking in some areas. It is too low. Bottoms out easily on uneven trails , need about 3 more inches. The cab is pretty noisy. Should be better insulated. The heater, air conditioning, ect switches should be illuminated. The windshield wiper should have delay settings like in a vehicle. Should come standard with winch. The manual windows vibrate down while driving and hauling it. The muffler is in a stupid spot. Easily going to get banged up. The head lights are horrible at night when you need them. I like the bus bar for accessories. I like the large battery. Lots of dust and water leaks in cab. I really like the interior. Such as dash and seats. For the price of it, I could have got a full size pickup. So these things should not even be an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Polaris Ranger 1000 XP We went back and forth for a long time whether we wanted a different brand or Polairis. Once I drove a Ranger, I was sold! The machine has incredible handability and power. Its ability to maneuver the trickiest of situations is impressive. I really like how the back cargo area raises up so you can dump a load or really get to the hard to reach places during a wash. We have added some adaptions like a light bar, and the Ranger was set up for such things, like pre determined holes to slide wires through. I have been nothing but happy with my purchase and would highly reccomend my vendor and any Polairis brand machine.

The ranger has 26 hours on it and it has over heated twice, once it shut down on me and I walked out of the bush And when it took it in to dealer no explanation on why I have had it in several times to get the water leaks fixed and no results apparently Polaris doesn’t want to fix it properly

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Dissappointed Bought Ranger and when I got home vehicle had a oil leak. I hadn't even ridden in vehicle yet. Polaris gave me "Polaris Cash" to make up for the problem. I bought front brush guard with the money. After fighting for 2 hour trying to install accessory I found out it didn't fit. I returned it to dealer only to have parts guy tell me he hasn't sold one of these kits that has fit. My experience with my Polaris will be my last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranger Owner For Life! The first Ranger I bought was a 2006 700 XP. I used and abused it. It was my workhorse around the farm and my chariot in the hills chasing chuckar, deer, and elk. I watched new models roll out and saw the improvements made year after year. I finally couldn’t take it anymore. I retired my 2006 and purchased my 2020 1000 XP and have been in love with it since day one. We’ve already had family adventures and put it to work around our acreage. I have no doubt it’ll be the workhorse my 2006 was and will provide me with many years of service that you can come to expect from the Polaris brand. Ranger owner for life, Adam Percifield

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overpriced Golf Cart - Just Average I traded my Sportsman 1000 ATV for this Ranger and wish I'd kept my ATV. I've taken it to Wyoming and use it on my local deer lease but it's lacking HP and some key accessories. I didn't realize how expensive the accessories are for this unit and feel it should have come with the additional features for what I paid for this unit. Also my ATV seemed to have more power and functionality for my purpose. I feel that I made a mistake in purchasing this POLARIS product and should have bought a golf cart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! A fun and exciting, hard working machine Our Ranger is used daily on our farm. It is used for everything from hauling feed out to the pasture to bringing wood to the fire. We haven't found anything yet this machine can't handle. We love the smooth drivability of it and it has no trouble cruising at 45mph from our farm to leased farm land fields. In addition to farm use, we use it when hunting our property. It's quiet enough to sneak into a far out hunting spot without alarming game and has plenty of room to haul all our gear. The large cargo bed makes it nice when bringing game out of the woods as well. We are very happy the purchase of our Ranger and our only regret is not buying it sooner!!

Think new body style and cab is great and it has tons of power and torque. I loo e forward to many years of service out of this one as well. So far I have added the oem roof, rear glass panel, front and rear bumpers, bed mat, floor mats, side steps, and LED headlights. Aftermarket parts include koplin vented windshield, boss sound bar, rough county 4500lb winch and 12” light bar, craftsman toolbox, horn, and the gun grabber gun mount. New hostile wheels and 29” tires are on they way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice machine I the new body style rangers are very nice. When the new clutching is working properly it’s is awesome set up. I had a 2018 before this one and the primary clutch was junk. It always shifted hard and finally broke the shifter off. I had a guy look at the clutch and he said the machining on the clutch was terrible and it was pretty much a paper weight. When I bought the 2019 it had the hard shifting also. I have since fixed the problem. Overall they are great machines and the clutch/belt are very strong when they work right.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trail Boss Review I use the machine on my ranch. When I first brought it home from the dealership I found the hardware for the skid plates all loose. Recently I found a bolt on the floor board that has fallen out of something. when installing the winch I found a bolt on the brush guard with gaulded threads. Now I’m hearing an odd noise when the vehicle is descending down a hill. I’m really concerned about the quality and of the machine that I have so much money invested. On a positive note Polaris does very good with the work instructions and the provisions for options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but could still be better Took delivery of an '18 Ranger XP1000 in late Nov. 2017 so am one of the first to own this "all new" machine. The creature comforts are a big upgrade over the '17 model. However, even with the all-new clutch system, slow speed "inching" is still terrible as it wants to hobble and lunge ahead. This is annoying when hooking up to trailers or other slow speed ground equipment. Will have to do the Dura-Clutch mod to get it right!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best bang for the buck Bought back in september love the the torque and stance. If your thinking of a 900 dont waste your time or money. The 1000 is a total different animal. Love the performance mode. All around great machine. Only slight problems, a bolt for the passenger seat was loose and the headrest rivet isnt in all the way. My brother bought one before me and his battery cables were loose. And my brother inlaw bought a 900 and after 2 months a bolt backed out of the clutch assembly. But polaris replaced the belt and assembly.

I did talk to my friends into buying 2018 1000 and they are very very happy with theirs too I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you guys offer in the future as far as the Polaris Ranger goes. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great design, poor transmission shifting I bought this unit back in August. The unit has the perfect balance of handling and engine power. The only downside that I dislike about it is the transmission shifting into gear. There are several times I had to turn off the engine in order to shift the gear from reverse to park because it was stuck in reverse. Another dislike I had was when I'm at stop on a slope, the unit tends to roll backwards. It seems to lack control when in that position. The two stars are for performance and look. I would have given a five if I had not experienced the rolling backwards at an incline stop and the shifting out of a gear issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great ride Haven't been disappointed my side by side yet. Good looking and I like the new style and find it very easy to clean up after your in a little mud. I like a clean ride and after taking it in the mud, it takes hours to clean up in the past and now it doesn't take but a few minutes. Another big deal is the not getting so much dust in the cab. I ride on some dirt roads and in the past, I've tried everything to keep it out of the cab and still have a roof and window. The new aerodynamics has made the dirt road ride much more enjoyable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2021 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar We have owned Polaris ATVs for many years and we bought this Northstar to replace an older model. The interior and console were redesigned and we've now gained some extra room in the cab, especially under the passenger seat where the storage bin under the seat has been replaced with a big open space to place a bucket or other items (the dog loves this space). Also, the dash has been redesigned so that now I can place my stuff there without it sliding off the dash! The heat and air are so important for us, but can be a little loud in the cabin. We miss the heated seats, which were not standard. The doors are also different on this model - the windows ROLL DOWN - YES!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love the newness of my new 1000 Ranger I just really like the difference in this machine versus my 2010. Noticeable increase in power. I probably like having power steering more than any of the features though. Probably my only disappointment is that I've tried to find seat covers for this unit and they're not available for the Ranger XP 1000 base unit. With the full width 1 piece back on the base unit I've learned you can't find them so I have to buy the whole kit and only be able to use the seat bottoms portion of the kit because the back rest comes in 60/40 split and I don't have 60/40 back rest so I'm wasting a little money. My dog loves to ride so I have to have seat covers to protect the seats.

My confidence in the quality of parts took a big hit. First I'm regretting purchasing the super expensive 3 position windshield that rattles uncontrollably in the open position. Polaris won't stand behind it. I recently took my XP1000 in for its first maintenance and find I have a busted rear axle. RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Edition

Starting at $31,299 CA MSRP

Equipped with RANGER Pro Shield Cab System and factory-installed heat, defrost, and air conditioning, providing a premium in-cab experience with seating for 3.

2019 RANGER XP 1000 EPS NorthStar Edition Pearl White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 1416.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cab and power train Cab is horrible dust and water comes in every where.

Starting at $27,099 CA MSRP

Purpose built for extreme mud performance, equipped with ultimate mud features from the factory with seating for up to 6.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dont buy I bought this in hopes of it being a great family fun toy. First time i take it out went through a good size mud hole and the snorkels failed and motor took on water. Had the dealership fight with polaris just to get polaris to cover the manufacturing defect. Unit only had 4 hours on it when that happened. Nothing but door issues now and I'm fed up now and wish I never bought this polaris junk. This will be my last and only one I buy.

Seems I got the bike that was in production during Covid-19 and I had several problems with the bike all bolts were loose an lost a brake pad while riding the retaining bolt for the slide was missing in the drivers side caliper. Brought back to dealer they warranty the caliper and checked almost every bolt on the bike to make sure it was safe after 51 hours of riding the machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I traded my 2017 Polaris general to get this Ranger. I wanted more room to sit, more cargo space and the snorkels. It has preformed very well and has done everything I needed. I did get the high lifter edition. I do not really care for the Outlaw 2’s that it comes with. Personally they are a bit small and are only for mud. I enjoy the mud and water that it can handle. The big thing for me was the snorkel. I don’t always go into the “deep” but I do love the option. I don’t care for the placement of the intakes for the belt on the other machines. Comfort wise, it travels very nice down the trail but with the Outlaw tires it is sure hard to handle down the road. I’d prefer a 30” or bigger, aggressive road tire that could handle the mud or the drive down the road. I also don’t care for your 6 month warranty on this machine. If you built it and sell it I think it should have a minimum of a 1 year warranty. Just make some stipulations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great vehicle I bought in December and I’m really happy with it. The only thing that I am going to complain is the hose clamps for the cooling system were loose from the factory. I had a hose blow off riding my second time to run it. I had 4 hrs on the machine. I had to take it to the dealership to get coolant to flow properly, other than that I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Owner review I bought the unit about 3 months ago. so far everything has performed great. it has been in plenty of mud and also on some rocks out in central Texas. power is great. the on demand 4wheel drive performs amazing and is instantly engaged. Only complaint is tire size. for a mud unit they need to at least have 29.5 on the ranger as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of room Lots of room, really live the machine gave it 4 stars, because of the tires. They are the worst riding tires i have ever owned. Under 10 miles an hour they rattle and shake entire bike, I understand this is a mud specific bike but you have to ride some harrow k to get to mud and there is plenty of mud tires that ride a lot better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing roks! We love the highlifter but we wish that Polaris would come out with tail lights equipped with back up lights integrated. I wish that the highlifter head turf friendly rear-end instead of positive traction. This thing does however rock and will go anywhere! It’s super quite and will amaze you with features and power.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine I bought my ranger a few months ago. I have really enjoyed the room of the crew vs my standard cab. Polaris rangers are great. Definitely one of the best out there. My only complaint is the OEM batteries are terrible. Replaced that with an odyssey and problem solved though. Easy fix!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my machine I have had 4 Wheeler's and side-by-sides and nothing compares to my Ranger. It is so perfect for me and my fur-kids to ride around in. We can go almost anywhere with no concerns. I am so happy that we made the switch from Can-am to the Ranger!!!! RANGER LOVE!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Lifter Crew I use my ranger primarily for duck hunting. I like that the highlifter comes pretty much ready to go for what I do, but there are a few things that I would like to see improved on the rangers. For one, I wish the highlifter model had different color options-either black or camo. The bright orange sticks out like a sore thumb if you are using it for hunting like I do. 2nd, I'd like to see better thought out mud protection for the frame and rear/engine area of the vehicle. I try to clean my unit after every hunt and there's so many cracks and open areas on the back of the vehicle that it takes an hour plus to really get it completely clean. Also, the frame has open ends on it so mud gets in there and traps water and the frame starts to rust from the inside out. I've been running rangers for 20+ years and I've had 2 that the frame rusted out because of this issue. These are the 2 main reasons why I didn't give a 5 rating. Compared to other units out there, Rangers are the best but some small things could be improved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok so far I bought couple months ago only got to use in mud once goes great, Not happy after when cleaning machine decals came off box , also had wire harness probably within first 2miles had to be replaced. Warranty should be by mileage or hours for the money it cost

Love the weight it can handle in the bed and how it dumps. Just a good all around machine for anyone who works and plays.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth Ride I bought this Ranger Highlifter a few months ago and I like it! It has plenty of seatage and bed room. I just wish they would come standard with a roof or maybe throw in a Bluetooth speaker lol overall it’s a great machine and we really enjoy it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost nailed it I’ve had it 3 months now. Clutch was out of alignment causing hard shifting in and out of gear. I run portals so had to go back to a 2017 portal bracket to run stronger lower ball joints. Great other than that though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ranger 570 crew full size We purchased our Ranger 570 crew full size in January 2021. We only ride it on dirt roads, no trails or mud bogging. We only have 24 hrs on it. So far the engine runs like new, no mechanical problems. The only complaints are, 1) shifting into reverse takes some finesse, tailgate handle doesnt easily unlatch tailgate. Only giving 4 star rating because I haven't had it long enough for a thorough review. I will post another review after warranty expires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ride, large enough to do work I bought this machine to replace an old Kawasaki mule. This machine is way better in terms of suspension. It rides great. Reliable so far with about 30 hours. I like the large bed. Engine has plenty of power. The fan blowing hot air on your knees and feet is really annoying in the Texas summer. I have no idea why that hasn’t been changed. This machine really needs power steering, but it isn’t an option. It’s a little too large/heavy to drive over rough terrain with no EPS. I can drive it, but my daughter really can’t over terrain due to lack of eps. That said, long term I’m hoping no eps helps it stay simple and reliable. Factory 4 ply tires probably should come with 5 or 6 ply Already flat. The dealer was good, the folks at Polaris just seem nicer than the arrogant Kawi salesmen. All in all, I would buy it again, especially if they added power steering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good transport Overall I have enjoyed the machine, It’s easy to use, plenty of room and storage. It’s got a smooth ride and great for traveling with kids and company around our property. My only gripe is I wish the thing had power steering. It is a challenge to turn the wheel when you’re backing up or in a tight spot. Plus the turning radius sucks which I figured going in but power steering would make it easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grandkids Express I like my 6 seater Polaris with seat belts so much. It is great for the 1-12 year olds. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ride for trails and the deer lease Great ride. May have issue with power steering when turning to the left “pulsates very slightly smooth to the right” may be normal but not sure. Would give 5 stars but 4 for this reason. Plus accessories are pricey and I have a hole in rear seat underneath. Have not heard back from dealer. Just put tape over it. But enough for those small details, overall the ride is smooth and it’s a very capable machine. Given some time I could go to 5 stars but need time to see if these things are normal or not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from “Poor” doesn’t even begin to describe it My Ranger has been out of service for 2.5+ months, out of the 4 I have owned it. At the dealer for the second time (has been down since July 24th), and they cannot diagnose it, replace it, or give me my money back (apparently)...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This thing is a beast! We use this every day in one capacity or another. Between farming activities, people transport and flat out rec riding, we almost need a signup list. Room for 6 adults, great cargo area, super fast (almost too fast for the farm). Came with soft side doors that attached with a stainless steel bar in a slot at the bottom and plastic buckles at the top. If you rode with them open, there was no way to secure them so the bar would catch the ground on uneven surfaces. Ended up ripping the drivers side door off so we just removed them completely. The tailgate is too light weight and comes out of it's slot making it difficult to shut securely. For those two reasons, I took a star off but, honestly, that's maybe a half a star. Otherwise, this thing is a beast. It's so large in fact, it almost needs a back up cam!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our lake runner We got our Ranger Crew to keep at our lake house, and it’s the perfect runabout. Our house is about 800 ft above the lake where our boat dock is and the road down to the lake is a bunch of hairpin switchbacks. We can load the Range up with boating stuff and boaters and it just works it’s heart out. Since we’re in the mountains, it’s obviously also great for off-roading those rocky uphill trails thru the forest.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have 2 improvement comments I think the low range is to low of a gear ratio. I also have 2012 Polaris crew 800 and use it in low range mostly but find the new 1000 is to low to use so have to run it high range most of the time. I don't like the factory top on the 2020 it to short on the front rain runs down on the instrument panel and the drivers lap. the 2012 top extended farther out keeping you dryer in light rains.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine! We bought this to have up at our cabin and it is a great machine. Works wonderfully however, I am so glad I bought one brand new with a warranty. We did everything the manual said to break it in, drove normally for over 20 hours and the check engine light came on and was throwing codes for a bad belt. How can a belt go bad if it's barely driven?? We are taking it in to get looked at.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great farm vehicle Not many days go by that I don’t use my rancher. Whether it’s to check the mail or to check on cows. It’s a handy machine to have! My only draw back is I think they should come with a roof and windshield as “standard”. Also the way you have to put the ranger in gear is awkward to me. Most time park is up and you have to pull down to low or high but it’s opposite on the ranger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all round machine for work and play We use our 2021 Ranger Crew 1000 Premium mainly in the summers that we spend in Alaska. Particularly love the space in the cabin, the solid doors, glass windshields and windshield wiper. It is a go anywhere vehicle for us with the capability to haul materials, firewood around our properties. Easily accommodates 5 of us when necessary, with ample power and torque.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hunting and working on the land. Great for duck hunting. We load it down regularly with 6 people, 1 dog, 2 dozen decoys, and hunting gear for 6, then we drive it through some of the nastiest terrain you can find, and it never skips a beat. Might not be recommended but when the creeks overflow, we don't turn around, we just go straight through. The Ranger is a (Must-Have) accessory for hunting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Family and Work Friendly The ranger rides better than I expected and is roomy. The biggest thing I do not care for is when changing from park to reverse or forward or any gear for that matter, it shifts hard. Also, I wish the doors were more user friendly for the price of this unit. They should be hinged and easier to fasten. All in all, it is fun, useful, and does what is needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ranger 1000 crew 2021 I use ranger on farm and riding with wife and friends. One or two flaws I don’t like is the gear shift selection. It’s hard to put in high gear . It’s almost like there’s not enough clearance in dash. Another is the windshield I received from factory rattles and gets aggravating listening to it. Other than that I enjoy the ranger it’s a big help on farm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance! Purchased in June. Took Ranger to Colorado in August and Ranger did great on mountain trails. I’ve used it to work cattle back in Illinois. It’s pick up speed as well as traction and balance were great! Our first time trail riding with friends we had a “winching” good time as I had to use my winch to pull him out. (My friend has another make UTV ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great off-road vehicle We bought our 2020 Ranger 1000 Crew a couple of months ago to replace a 2010 Ranger 800 Crew that had a blown transmission. We love the new Ranger, which is a big improvement over the old one. The electronic power steering with a reduced steering radius makes maneuvering much easier. The increased power is significant, the ride is very smooth.

We recently went trail riding and had 2 kids and 4 adults along for the ride and never got stuck or missed a beat. Overall, the unit is in my opinion, a true display of a fully capable work and play UTV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Azz machine my 2020 ranger crew 1000 has been so far the toughest machine , im out in the woods out doing most other side by sides, the crew pulls better than the others. Ive pulled out other side by sides with ease. i also can pretty much do and go any were the others do alot easier in most cases that they do

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth & Quiet Ride The 2020 Ranger Crew 1000 that I purchased runs well most of the time. The one big complaint that I have is that it is difficult to shift into High gear. It grinds and I have to move the gear shift up & down to get it to engage. There have been times that it will pop out of High gear when driving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything I need it to! When working around the property the Ranger has done everything I need from hauling water around to bringing loads of rock and wood all around! Also with the 6 person capacity if we want to take off down to the river there is plenty of space for us and what ever we want to take with us!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome machine I chose this model for the gearing. I wanted it to work and pull bigger tires. Its still stock and rides like a dream. Love the low gearing in low range. This premium model is just right for both work and play. Love the dependability so far. Thanks for an all around awesome machine.

Looking forward to having it with the winch to help take the boats out of the water this fall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Workhorse of a machine, reliable, tough I use my Ranger extensively on our ranch. I could not get around without it. I just wish I could get the rear glass that I purchased at the time I bought the machine. It's been 5 months and it's still on backorder. That's the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish you wouldn't have asked! 2020 Ranger Crew 1000 - Check engine light came on with less than 1 mile of use. Returned to the dealership and the same problem occurred 4 times, each within a mile or two after return from the dealership. Polaris Corporation was guiding the repair each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranger 1000 crew We use our Polaris on a daily vases to get work done around the ranch. The only complaint we have is the back seat is a little hard to get in and out it’s too narrow and when we pour feed from the back seat the bag gets caught on the door clips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart decision I had a 570 crew but wanted something larger for my family. We use our ranger often as the kids love to go for a ride. We also use it around the farm for working on fence lines and feeding cows. Hasn't failed us yet! We love our ranger!

RANGER CREW XP 1000

Starting at $24,199 CA MSRP

The standard for off-road utility with an unmatched combination of power, torque, comfort, convenience and brute strength. Make no compromises with 82 HP, 2,500 LB towing and 13" clearance—with room for 6.

2019 RANGER CREW XP 1000 EPS Sage Green is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 861.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great new interior!!! Owned this for about 3 mos and it’s exactly as promised. Best UTV on the market. Only complaint is the shift column is a little tricky. Chain slips if you don’t make sure you “jam” it in high. Ride is exceptional. New stabilizers and body style is well worth the price tag. Most in cabin room on the market, has cup holders for every passenger (which is a big deal!). Only thing I would change is I wish Polaris would offer a longer term on their warranty. Never had a problem on any of my old rides, but there is just a good feeling that the manufacturer would stand behind you longer than the 6 mos (which is nothing).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2021 Ranger Crew XP1000 Love our Ranger!! Would change a few things like the mesh doors and would have got heat and air. The only problem I see so far is the nozzle and placement of the windshield wiper fluid. Nozzle has 2 holes the fluid comes out and only one squirts on the windshield, the other in mid air. We tried to adjust but it just doesn't adjust to where both streams hit the windshield so we just plugged one of the holes up. This is our second Polaris and we love it even more than our first one. It is super handy and we have it equipped so that we can drive it on the county roads to our different pastures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this in the winter, and it worked well for a few weeks, then loss power and error said due to belt slippage. It's been in service for over 2 weeks and the dealer says it has happened many times and Polaris is not taking responsibility for the warranty. If they fix it with OEM parts, it cancels the warranty, and yet, Polaris has not found a permanent solution. Spent plenty on this vehicle and it is not working?! Disappointed to say the least.

After we got home the clutch hung up so it wouldn’t not completely stop. After 4 weeks at dealer we got it back rode 15 miles engine light came on machine went in to limp mode. Gas pedal Wiring at the connection clip shorted out 1 week at dealer to replace part. The whole family enjoys our ranger when we get to ride it .

When I contacted the dealer, they contacted Polaris. Polaris said the website is wrong and I have to pay to buy the speakers and then pay to have them installed. A friend bought the same exact machine a month earlier and his came with the dash speakers. After speaking with customer service personally they made good and gave me a credit to purchase the speakers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good ideas! cheaply put together I have owned it for around 3 months. Came with a bad AC fitting after 3 times in the shop it was finally fixed. After about 200 miles there is a clunking noise in the front driver side when you turn. Dealers can’t find where it’s coming from. Leaks water through the roof and windshield whipper box. Super loud inside the cab from engine noise. Very expensive to have this many issues and nobody at Polaris really seems to care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, Quiet Ride I've owned a Kawasaki Teryx and several Yamaha ATVs and UTVs. This is my first Polaris and I'm very happy I made the switch. My Ranger XP 1000 Crew is the perfect combination of comfort and power. The 82hp engine allows the whole family along with all of our gear to pile in and hit the trails. The smooth suspension and quiet cab allow for normal conversation or cranking up the tunes on any terrain. We love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remarkable machine I take my dogs into the field every day for exercise and training. They love the Ranger as much as I do. It's low noise level, safety features, stability, power and economy are excellent. We go to different places including a deserted golf course, a freshwater beach, wooded areas and open fields. The ride is perfect. The Ranger is simply a fantastically engineered vehicle. And now that I have my roof, flip down glass windshield and built in blue tooth radio this is "PIMP MY RIDE" pride. My grandkids are in awe when we ride around and they get to listen to their favorite tunes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine! I bought my Polaris Crew a few months ago and have really enjoyed using it to go camping and to elk hunting camp. The roads are difficult and strewn with large rocks. I put a 3" lift and 30" tires on the vehicle and have little issues with navigating the roads. The dust-free cab has been great and I have enjoyed the heated and air-conditioned cab as well. Nice rig!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Ride This is our 3rd Ranger and have enjoyed them all but this new redesign really improves the overall ride beginning with how the vehicle take off. This one doesn't seem to lurch as much as the older models. The engine is moved to the back of buggy instead of being under the seat so you don't get the noise and heat and you can have a conversation while driving.

I had differential issues in the front and rear new roof, three clutch replacements, Polaris took care of all of these issues but with the warranty ending I either had to buy an extended warranty or trade for a new one . The price that I ended up trading for didn't justify buying a warranty and having a two year old machine with a lot of miles. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine I use the Ranger a few days of the week on a farm. Overall it’s a good machine. I replaced the original headlights with LED right away, huge improvement. While driving and RPMs reach 4,200 there is a definite rattle that comes from the exhaust. Haven’t pinpointed it yet but I’ve read forums where others have the same problem. Had to take it back to dealer to replace a malfunctioning seatbelt which was covered under warranty. The machine looks and feels to be a solid build and is designed very well. The power is plenty for what I need and it rides and handles great!
Date published: 2020-12-25
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Marginal Machine The machine is ok. Customer service from corporate is terrible. I bought it for work because it had the biggest engine in it's class but it's still sluggish and lags on acceleration. Accessories are overpriced. I probably wouldn't buy this machine from Polaris if I had to do it over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You have a Few things to work on!! I now have 200 miles on the ranger---Please work on the shifting, its very primitive & cumbersome. The front seat should be able to recline just slightly!! Cab noise is a little excessive. I love the front windshield washing system!! I use it all the time with the mud while hunting----you need to get the mud/dirt so it get to the bottom of the windshield or past the field of view looking out of the passenger side. These should be easy important fixes for the designers/ engineers at Polaris. A Great machine that needs some polishing in a few small areas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features My wife and I bought our ranger in September 2019 and have only one complaint. Dust control, but that is part of it so it’s not that big of a deal for us. It does everything we need and more. looks to be built very well and should last us for many years to come

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handles great! Love my new ride. It handles better than my Mule but it is not as smooth a ride. Sits better than mule. Very happy with it over all. I hate the canvas doors. Wish it had half hard doors. They are much safer and keep the dust out better.
Date published: 2019-11-20
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love & Hate Relationship I really like the looks. Seats are great. Decent power, although I might have expected more. This is my first crew and the length takes some getting used to, but it's growing on me. I put front and rear glass in it and am very disappointed in the amount of dust that swirls around in the cab. I see doors in my future. Also disappointed in the shifting. It is not easy to shift, especially into high and also pops out of gear on occasion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is my first off-road vehicle I am very impressed with the ride and how well it handles in different types of riding conditions. After doing my research and talking with other owners of off-road vehicles it was clear that i was going to purchase a Polaris. The only thing that i would say i'm some what disappointed in and keeps me from giving 5 stars is i have only 35 hours on this unit and i have paint chipping lose in some areas where it was welded on the frame.

I am a ranch owner and it is my work horse used to do most all the daily chores. I also have a guide service and use it for carrying hunters and gear and transporting game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice SAFE machine to get the Kids outdoors. Great machine! Plenty of power for the parents to ride with their kids while they learn to drive. Love the safety features (seat belts, safety nets, roll over protection) and the app that allows the parents to set speed settings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product for kids. We have had this machine for a few months now. Kids transitioned from small atvs to this with out a problem. I like the safety of this and also the ride command. My only complaint is the decals are not sticking well and coming off. Took awhile to find a dealer who had a fair price ended up at valley atv. Great people great service. Had a few other dealers who had bad attitudes no customer service. Almost didn’t buy one because Polaris dealers and not customer oriented. Valley is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This was a Christmas gift for my children. After riding it only three time, it won’t start. It’s a huge inconvenience and disappointment to have a brand new UTV that doesn’t operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our new favorite hobby! We get so much use and enjoyment out of this machine! It’s the perfect size for our daughter to use on her own or for us to ride with her.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of Rattles Not much quality difference over Chinese ATV's. In fact on the back of the unit it says it was made it China. Gear shifter rattles terribly when any acceleration. Also hear rattles in back engine area. Dealer has to unlock password on Ride Command with special tool. Dealer changed password and doesn't know it, and now we have to get a trailer to bring the unit back to them to use Ride Command.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cool looking I bought this for my girl which she loves. The computer went out a month after. After owning the ace 150 for a year which seems to be on the same platform has been nothing but trouble. The motor seems to be fine but all the bushings and and suspension components are wore out with not a lot of riding. With that being said I’m scared to keep it very long. It does look good and ride good

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but trouble so far Bought for my boys as Christmas gift. Have had issues with bad rear bearings, faulty hand break that still makes the ranger think break is on when it’s not, poor quality clips to keep the net doors secured closed, and the info cluster has stopped working. This has all happened with less than 5 hours of usage since dec 2019

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun little toy We have had a few problems with our little Ranger but it is a good thing to get kids into so they can begin learning how to operate motor vehicles. If it was set up properly from the dealer we wouldn't have had as many problems. Hopefully the problems will be ironed out soon and we can keep enjoying our new Ranger

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Polaris Ranger 150 EFI Our kids loved this unit. Our issue was with the dealer we bought it from. Honestly I could never recommend them to anyone else. The story is long, but regardless, they would never get my business again, this coming from a long time Polaris buyer. Been buying awesome Polaris products for over 20 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet ride I bought this sxs for my daughter to use around our 34 acre property and she loves driving it. With its EFI it start right up no problems with flooding it or it not starting. Its a comfortable ride and even fits myself 5'10" a little tight but I can enjoy some time with my daughter

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well made but poor design Bought this in February for my grandson, he loves it but I don't.. adjusting the chain is a real pain as is changing the oil ... hard Cornering causes chain to slip , engine mounts appear to allow it to twist the sprockets and the chain chatters .. would not purchase another 150 !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great machine, questionable warranty service. This machine is great for the grandkids. It has all of the safety features and controls that you need for learning children. Everything about the machine is very good. My only issue is that I had a failed instrument cluster and I purchased the machine from a dealer over 100 miles away since the local dealer did not have any in stock. When requesting warranty service on the instrument cluster I asked if I could take it to my local Polaris dealer vice spending and entire day driving to the dealer the machine was purchased from. This was denied by Polaris, reason unknown, I think they thought that it may have been an issue with the code to access the machine. When take to the selling dealership, they determined that the instrument cluster was failed and was replaced. This should have been warranty service and allowed to be performed at local dealer saving me 250 miles of driving and an entire day waiting for the repair. I am wondering how future warranty issues will be handled and may be a major factor in future buying decisions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent starter UTV for kids Bought this for my son and daughter earlier this year and already have over 200km on it. They love it and it has gone everywhere our larger machines have gone. Recommend the half windshield it makes a big difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Happy Little Boy I bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. I could not be happier with it. The geo-fencing is a game changer no more worrying where he rides. I would highly recommend this ranger to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ranger 150 Grinds gears when shifting. Had to fix seat when we first got it. Sad to see made in China sticker when we purchased it. Thought would be american made . Should have researched it better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for my son. We like our Ranger. Or only con is it is too low to the ground. Riding on slightly muddy trails it gets stuck just on the ground. But other than that it is great for a children.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Many cool features but has some flaws I purchased about 4 months ago and was so excited to have it for my nine year old daughter. It has a ton of great features. I love the geofencing and speed control ideas. I bought this with intentions of taking the girls on some nice trail rides because at the same time I bought a Polaris RZR Velocity S4 (love that thing). That being said I am very disappointed because the ranger 150 can’t climb the slightest of hills unless you have a running start. I am sad to say that to me this was a complete bust. It would be great for flat land riding around a farm or ranch but that is about it. It has also had issues with overheating not even two days after purchasing. For me not worth the money my daughter doesn’t even want to ride it because she can’t get it to ride the minor hills around our house. It has sat in the garage for about three months now without being ridden. The fact that she can’t follow me in my big ones make it a complete waste of money. Polaris you need to do some work on this thing. Overall speed is great but this thing has no power and no torque. There is no point for the speed setting feature cause it doesn’t have enough power to worry about that.
