RANGER 1000

THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF PRICE & PERFORMANCE

2022 RANGER 1000 Sagebrush Green is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 700.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY DIED Hi: I recently purchased this UTV that I love. Unfortunately, after a strenuous effort to get the UTV out of a hole, the LCD display died. Totally! I changed the fuse and that wasn’t it. The UTV is under warranty, but I have to rent a trailer to drive 2 hours to the dealer. This is unfortunate!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ranger 1000 Chore Machine I live on acreage and I use my Ranger 1000 for all sorts of chores nearly every day. The power is adequate for pulling trailers and having fun when I’m not working. Smooth ride with the soft suspension and the improved seats are much better than the previous model I had. My only complaint is the silly design of the fenders which taper in to the tires. The tires spray mud all over the fenders any time I use the machine after a rain. Not sure what the design team was thinking when they designed the fenders. My previous Ranger adequately kept mud from spraying on the sides of the vehicle, but my new machine gets filthy even driving thru wet grass. Haven’t been able to find any aftermarket fender flares that look good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome I’ve owned my Ranger 1000 for a couple months and it has been awesome! Everything has performed very well except there is a delay when pushing the gas pedal. Once you put it in low gear there is a lot of play in the pedal until the transmission kicks in. It also does it in reverse. Not sure if that is normal and from what I’ve been told it is. I am no mechanic. It definitely has been fun to play with as well as use it on the farm. I highly recommend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good machine My 2020 ranger 1000. Is a pretty nice machine easy to get in and out of. Ride is good. Power is good. There are a few cons the biggest being the exaust temp when u run it down the rod or on a trail hard the header pipe is glowing cherry red. HOT!! WInd shield was not put in correct and won’t shut. 600 miles in and the engine is making a ticking noise at a idle. Not sure I would trade my 900 in for it again if I had the chance to go back in time

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought to use on the farm I use it several times a week however only after 39 miles the turf mode works intermittently sometimes it won’t move unless I put it in 4 wheel drive also it has a popping noise in the rear end. Also got a recall for a fuel line update right after I bought it. I have to return it to the dealer for warranty work as soon as i can

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More leg room then similar models Disappointed with the quality. I’ve owned Yamaha and Honda ATVs and have never had issues . I have less than 1000 miles on my ranger and the decals are coming off, the throttle sensor had to be replaced , my CV axle is already clicking

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied customer I bought my ranger 3 months ago. I was lied to by salesman and service department. I was told my unit had no reverse chain also stated in polaris ads. Come to find out it dose indeed have a reverse chain. Very unsatisfied customer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Ranger We bought our Ranger over a month ago and we are not happy, we are ecstatic. The Ranger is easy to operate, has no problems, and is so much fun!!! We love it and couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Ranger I have taken my Ranger on trails, roads, in the woods and used it to help clean up our junk piles outside! But the funniest use was for a Christmas parade to see our brother who had a heart transplant!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my Ranger My Ranger is hard to shift into high gear, took it back to the dealership and was told it would get better and it has somewhat, but other than that everything is good. I’m going to take it back soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blah Got the ranger for country road cruising. It’s ok but I might as well just drive my truck. Engine is loud. Belts or clutches make noises. Fit and finish of a 15k UTV was poor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Had a 2020 570 before this and it was a terrible machine. Front differential vibration and noise. The first chance we had we traded in for this 1000 premium and it's a night and day difference. Plenty of power and extremely comfortable. Couldn't be happier. My only regret is I should have spent the extra money in the beginning and never purchased the 570. Spend the extra and buy this 1000 premium you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Machine Plus When I got BIG RED I was expecting to use it for some task around the home and land that we just purchased in WV. My brother in law said that in a month that you will wonder how you have lived with one for so long well it didn't take a month for that to happen. The Ranger EPS 1000 has exceeded all of my expectations and has out performed any off road vehicle that I have owned. I must admit that my Pickup truck sits around a lot more that it used to and is not as fun to drive as the Ranger so in short it the best money that I have ever spent. Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great helper around the yard I bought my unit in July for on the farm and yard work. It works great for that absolutely love having it around as do my wife and kid as they use it every day

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great features Not happy! Makes awful noise in front differential and clutch noise . Dealer says drive it cause it’s hit or miss if you get one that doesn’t make noise

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome machine!! This is our second Ranger we have purchased for our farm. The first one we bought in 2002. The reliability and usefulness is why we bought a new one. So far my only complaint is I would like to see a parking break. We live in West Virginia and parking on hillsides is common but seems to be pretty hard on the transmission. With no more warranty that you get I am very concerned about the longevity of the park feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranger 1000 EPS We upgrade after owning a Ranger 400 for almost ten years. And this Ranger only raises the bar in my opinion. We use our new 1000 almost every day for farm work, gathering firewood and hunting tasks. The comfort of the Ranger is outstanding even with full adults. And it definitely doesn't lack any power what so ever. We gladly encourage our friends to take a serious look at a Ranger when shopping for a side by side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Buckatunna Long Creek Hunting Club - Polaris Range I use my new Polaris at the hunting camp. The biggest issue that I have is - two members purchases Honda’s and they’re able to get to locations on the club that I cannot (without getting stuck). I’m also disappointed that Polaris isn’t utilizing LED lights on 2021 models (really should be standard). The paint on the exhaust shield peeled off right away. This isn’t an issue — just looks bad on a new buggy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I have had my ranger for around 3 months. Less than 20 hours on it. While riding down a dirt road a tire went flat. There was no hole in the tire. A hole inside the rim was the culprit. It is not be being warranted and dealership told me I would need to upgrade to 14” rims from the factory 12” in order to not have the issue again. Shouldn’t have to buy upgraded parts to use the bike as intended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Farm Workhorse I bought this in January for moving cut up wood around the property to the area we have for splitting and stacking. I used to use a pick up truck, but this allows me to get to more remote areas and tighter spaces. The power steering is fantastic and makes it easy for my wife and granddaughter to use the ranger for yard work and moving seed and fertilizer. It's the perfect vehicle for our needs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hope it works today! I Use the Ranger for hunting and recreational purposes. Have had nothing but problems with this machine from day one. First day of purchase, blew radiator hoses. Lost all antifreeze and machine overheated miles from home. Guess they forgot to put hose clamp on at the assembling factory. Have had problems with it ever since. Have to have antifreeze with me in case the machine overheats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great asset for the Swift Current Airport CYYN We find the unit very helpful in all areas of Airport operations both winter and summer usage. like the ClearView doors but latches are a bit cumbersome. We installed a hitch to protect the muffler and this does pose a issue when using the dump with hitch in place. Display is hard to read in sun and lack of Reverse lamp indicator light (there is for neutral)
