Dear Polaris Owner,
Our records indicate that you are the owner of a RANGER affected by Safety Recall R-20-07 that was announced on Dec. 9, 2020.
Polaris has determined that some 2020-2021 RANGER 1000 models may experience damage to the vehicle’s fuel line in the event a drive belt breaks or fails during operation. Damage to the fuel line can cause a fuel leak which may result in fire.
To resolve this concern, Polaris has developed a bracket that attaches to the clutch outlet duct to protect the fuel line in the event a drive belt breaks or fails.
DO NOT OPERATE YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL THIS SAFETY RECALL HAS BEEN COMPLETED BY YOUR POLARIS DEALER.
Visit our Off-Road Safety Recall page to verify if your RANGER is impacted by the recall. Contact your dealer to schedule a service appointment or complete a transfer of ownership if you no longer own the vehicle. Your local Polaris Dealer can be found using our Dealer Locator.
While your dealer is in the best position to answer your questions, you can also contact our Polaris Owner Connections Department at 1-800-POLARIS (765-2747) to speak with a representative.
