Built for refined comfort and excellent value, to work all day.

2019 RANGER 500 SAGE GREEN is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 284.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Game Changer I bought my Polaris Ranger 500 for fishing, hunting and fun. It has met all expectations and then some.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from satisfied Working with the staff at CycleWorks has been a positive and helpful experience. My experience with the vehicle itself has been somewhat limited during these winter months that have been bitterly cold. Generally I am fairly impressed with the performance of the Ranger 500. There has been some issue with overheating while plowing snow and the gear shift is not as precise and responsive as I would like it to be. Other than those issues, at this point I am happy with our selection of this UTV. Would be helpful to have power assisted steering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok At 80 miles the engine had to be rebuilt. Still has a clanking metal sound when you start it. Has a growling noise from the drive system when you go down the road. I was told it’s normal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a Beast Purchased this Ranger to replace a golf cart I use at RV shows across the country, I was able to fit it into the bed of my 2016 F150 crew cab by adding a hitch mounted extension made at a local welding shop, it goes right in and tows great in the bed of my truck, I pull the truck with my motorhome. We had an opportunity to visit the Hatfield and McCoy trails in W.VA. between shows and had the time of our lives, I couldn't believe what this machine is capable of doing, we took some black trails as well with no issues, all with stock equipment. The smooth ride is fantastic. The only negative is this smaller machine is a little loud in the cab but not a deal killer. I highly recomment the 500, especially if you want to carry it in the bed of a truck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great deal for the money. I bought my ranger 500 in March '18. The family and I have really enjoyed it around the farm. It has plenty of power to do the things we need it for. My only complaint would be that the shocks will not stiffen up enough to keep the back in from sagging. I have my shocks tightened all the way up and the back end sags low just with 2 sacks of horse feed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not too happy with it! I bought this Polaris Ranger 500 new a few months ago. Since then, it's been back in the shop a couple of times because the shifting has an obvious issue. You have to rock the ranger back and forth a little to get it to drop into park and you always have to fight it to get it into reverse. The problem still exists and I'm told that's the way they are. It also has some kind of annoying rattle that can't be found. If I had a choice, I'd return it and buy a different brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall review This is my first side by side, as I have owned atv's in the past. Researched many utv makes and models and I am happy I chose the Polaris midsize Ranger. It plows snow well, works great for maple syrup season, and I look forward to seeing how it works for fall hunting and winter ice fishing.
Date published: 2018-06-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I bought this just before hunting season. Have put 300 miles on it so far, very happy with it. The 500 is still fast enough for hunting and ice fishing. Low goes about 20 mph, high goes about 45mph. Both get there quick. Has enough power to pull the ice house trailer around effortlessly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor start Bought this to do work around the property, hunting, and a few rides on the trail. Bike works good once it gets started. VERY VERY hard to start when cold, sometimes simply will not start. Not a lot of power but understood given only a 500. When it starts, good value for $$

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My ranger was a good choice My ranger was a good choice in a market with lots of possibilities. I liked Polaris' network of dealers and service that was far superior to those of other "feature packed" , cheaper no name manufacturers. 150 miles and not a single issue. Would buy another Polaris in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride I bought my ranger about 2 months ago. I will use it for trail riding and for hunting. First trip to the woods and it was a great first ride. Very easy to get my gear in and out of the woods. The add on extras are endless. I will also be install a snow plow. This is a great utv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in show ! I bought this a few months back to help around Commercial property that I manage, and for hunting . I have a 25 gallon sprayer mounted on the back that I use to spray large areas with roundup. Works like a champ ! Glad I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and gets the job done! We purchased our Ranger this summer to help around our 5 acre horse farm, and I'm not sure how we lived without it! It helps so much with dragging our riding arena and hauling supplies. Plus, it's just fun to too around in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our work horse We love our Ranger. It’s the work horse here on our land. Summer and winter it’s taken everything we’ve dished out and kept on going. We loved the Ranger so much we went back and bought a Polaris Sportsman 570. It’s a blast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth riding, powerful, and easy steering I have a Kawasaki Mule 600 which is a very good machine but it is rough riding and small. I am 78 yrs. old and needed a more comfortable machine for the rest of my years hunting and the 2019 Ranger 500 is a good choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from name brand but competition markets better options I purchased ranger 500 3 month ago and still don't know how many hours i have on machine or how much fuel is in tank due to poor reading availability. dissatisfied with instrument cluster options and small read-outs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 Ranger 500 Great machine. I bought it for ice fishing. Lot of room and accessories to hold ice fishing equipment. The tilt bed is great for doing lawn work. Its a great vehicle for 12 months a year not just ice fishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very comfortable ride I bought this for riding in my neighborhood and to help hauling material in the back yard. I am very pleased with the ride and comfort that it provides along with the ability to haul material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work horse! I have had my Polaris 500 for a couple months now, and I never imagined how much easier it could make my work load, until I got one! My only regret, is I wished I had gotten it much sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! So far so good! I bought my Polaris at the beginning of the summer. I’ve used it to spray weeds in my pasture. Also I’ve taken it on an old road in the woods. It did great! It’s very handy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! I really love my Ranger. I do have a problem with the shifting. At times the R will show and I think I am in reverse. However, the cart will not move until I move the shifter around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for my needs. My "mid-life" crisis purchase has been everything I thought it would be. Use it mainly for hunting, but my special needs daughter loves to ride with me around our 70 acre property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features and good price! I bought this machine a couple of months ago and just used it at the Deer Lease this weekend and I like the bed and space. The pulling power is good too. Very Satisfied Customer!

RANGER 570
Starting at $10,199 US MSRP

Built for power and value in a compact package, to work and play harder.

2019 RANGER 570 SAGE GREEN is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 348.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get what you pay for! I bought the 570 Ranger efi several months back. I have a ranch with hills and it handles nicely and what I expected out of it. I'm cautious with driving horizontally on hill sides as the 570 is top heavy especially with a passenger. Definitely learning the do's and don'ts as the more I use it. Definitely recommend a winch to go with it as it would have helped me the couple of times I got stuck! Great bed area and tilt. The negative side is it's turn radius but that was kind of expected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice SxS Bought this unit three months ago and have only put 300 km on it. So far it seems like a good machine.
Date published: 2018-11-29
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The 570 does it all. Bought this as an upgrade to the ATV I had for years and have been using to plow my driveway. The 570 has plenty of power for plowing and for trail riding as well. Also the unit was surprisingly comfortable to ride for long periods of time considering it's primarily a utility unit. Only complaint I have is that I wish I had just a bit more ground clearance on the trails but I can and will be remedying that it just of course costs more money for the list and some larger tires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good multipurpose Good ride, Power steering is great. Turf mode is best feature. Pitiful Decals blow off at carwash. At 12k, this is embarrassingly cheap. Tailgate on bed is horribly weak. Load capacity is zero. Ever tried metal? "engineered plastic impact failure" is embarrassingly cheap on all your products. 2" more footroom on ranger, RZR would probably double your sales. Your got my business, but you could considerably improve the product as noted. Another 2" of footroom has to

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work horse. What a work horse. Needed some additional muscle around the cabin and the Ranger has work out better than expected. From hauling brush, leaves and grass to pulling large branches and hauling rocks this Ranger can do it all. Can’t wait to get the plow attachment for keeping the driveway clear of snow this year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but very noisy I like most everything with the exception of a few things. I have trouble getting it to shift to reverse. When you finally get it to shift there is a jerk and noticeable noise as it shifts in gear. I rarely get a smooth shift in reverse. The second thing, it is very noisy. I used a decibel meter while riding and got a reading in the low 80's. The level where hearing protection is recommended is 85. After a long ride it is pretty annoying. I really like the way it looks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 162 miles and check engine light is on No hard riding, just around the property, crossed a couple small creeks no higher than mid tire, light mud from rain on trails. Just got a check engine light, speedometer stopped working and engine is hesitating after being out in the rain. This is s 2019 Ranger 570 midsize and I’m very disappointed.
Date published: 2019-03-12
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has some problems I am not happy with a lot of features with this machine. Very hard to clean mud off, took 2 1/2 hr. to wash it after going through mud. Mud gets in everywhere, including all the spaces on the underneath of the box. Hard on fuel. A, lot of heat comes up behind the seats, so much we had to stuff our coats in there to make it bearable. Think it has some design flaws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride I bought this last fall for doing some work on farm, making fire wood and trail riding through my woods and farm. Turned out to be a good purchase. Rides really well and has plenty of power and speed. It is also fuel efficient. Added brush guards, roof, winch, windshield and rear window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our Ranger 570 EPS (2018) We love our Ranger 570 EPS! Performs great on our property, and has just what we need for outdoor work and projects. In addition to glass windshield, roof, and poly back window, we added a winch. It it great for moving logs to prepare for cutting firewood. And the goats like to lick it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handier than we expected The Mid size 570 Ranger has exceeded our expatiations in both property maintenance, hauling, carrying tools, etc . For fun, we explore the hundreds of miles of the Forest Service roads, fire roads and trails that abound in this area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 570 Mid Size Bought lt last fall, I used it for deer season, ice fishing worked great for me. The next task is Maple Syrup this spring. I am not a rider I use mine for work and play. It would be nice if the clearance was a little more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Wife Time in the Outdoors We purchased this in the fall of 2019, my wife never liked going in our f350 to explore our back yard, for her it was intimidating to be in a large truck on narrow logging roads. After this purchase I can finally share the experience and joy that comes with exploring our back country with my wife!........so for that reason alone this was priceless!! and such a reliable product, as you can see fear conquered!!! Thank you Polaris

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Bought while heavy snows were still on the ground. Never got to use it to push snow because so many other people purchased around the same time to move snow it had to be shipped to the dealer. We've been using it often, hauling tools around the yard, dragging branches from limbing trees we fell, checking mail and taking trash dow to the gate. Given it's a 1/2 mile to our gate, it has been wonderful to have around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Budget Friendly Machine I traded my sportsman 570 ATV for this Ranger 570 midsize and it’s been a great machine. We just went trail riding with friends and all of them were running larger machines, Mavericks, Rzrs, Ranger 1000’s & Generals. I went everywhere the “big boys” went and never felt the need for more power. The midsize was an added benefit as my machine left the trails unscathed where others will be ordering some new plastics.

RANGER 570 Full-Size
Starting at $10,499 US MSRP

Built for unmatched quality, performance, and value, with comfort for 3.

2019 RANGER 570 Full-Size Sage Green is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 280.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from mostly good I have been quite happy with the new ride. It is fast, easy to drive and handy as all get out! I throw everything in this thing. I do have a few issues with it. Finding reverse can be a bit of a pain but I can deal with that. It doesn't start well in the cold. It only has to be near freezing and it stalls in seconds. I wish it had an external choke.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from dissapointed in that not all accessories available i bought this 3 months ago availability of accessories poor . had to buy most from an after market
Date published: 2018-07-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Capable machine We've had the Polaris 570 full size for a while now. Whatever we had to do with it and got the job done no problem it's got plenty of room to haul stuff if you're taking things out to go camping or some extra gear and a cooler full of food and drinks if you're out Wheeling for the day. The only complaint is the seats. I'm not very tall same goes for my wife. I'm 5'6. It's almost a struggle to reach the gas pedal unless you're wearing boots and the seats themselves aren't the most comfortable but everything else was great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine My old SxS played out and I needed a replacement here on our mini-farm. Did quite a bit of research and decided that the Polaris Ranger 570 Full-Size was what I needed. After 3 months of owning the Ranger, I know that I made the right decision. It has plenty of power to tow my utility trailer with all my garden tools on board and I can load down the bed with apples from our little orchard. What I really like about the Ranger is the “one wheel drive”, with that feature, it doesn’t tear up my yard like my old SxS did.
Date published: 2020-08-20
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent machine Have had mine for 3 months now, put 400 miles on it. So far there is no trail it won’t tackle. Tons of storage room in the cab and bed. Only reason I gave it four stars is I feel there should be a flip up seat with a storage box under it like the midsize models, there is plenty of room for one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too low to the ground for REAL ranch use. We feel that it is much lower to the ground than our MANY previous models. AND the big problem is the difficulty with shifting! It is difficult to get into REVERSE when PARK and REVERSE are not distinctly separate. We like the OLD shift system with a separate park lever MUCH better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice machine, very poor tires I am happy with the performance of the machine and am enjoying the power and functionality. However, I keep having flat tires and have lost confidence in taking the machine any distance from the house. For the money, it seems a better quality tire should be original equipment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to do the job and work well. Only have had it for a couple of months. So far seems pretty reliable and powerful. Only giving it a 4 cuz they are too loud. Wish you guys would do something to make them quieter. Mine did not have a tool box below the seat but I wish it did have one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very basic and simple I bought this a few months ago to use on my land as a work horse. So far it is gone through mud quit nicely. Used it to tow a trailer with stone and rocks to a few low areas on the land. I am not throwing a lot at it but it has taken a lot already. The only complaints I have are that box when down has pocket holes that are under the ROPS. This makes them unusable to put anything in them if you want to open the box. The second is that shifting is difficult and I have found that you can get stuck between gears and yes I have heard the grinding sound even though the reading on the control center is that I am in R or L. The third is the roof is a 3 part roof, would rather have one piece roof but that is what my dealer said was the roof that came with it. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice machine I really have enjoyed my Polaris. The only thing I would change if I was a Polaris engineer is the seat. I seems to tilt to the outside, you feel like you are sliding off sometimes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value in a basic workhorse model This 570 fullsize has the features and upgraes we were looking for , coming from a mid-size 400. We outfitted it with windshield and top, and a few other items. It's main use to ferry hunters to the blinds and pits during duck season in Arkansas. In the off season, we take it to a few of the OHV parks and trails, it's great for that too. We had the 400 dealer serviced by the book after every duck season, and had no issues ever. So we only considered Ranger when we upgraded.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome I’ve owned my Ranger 1000 for a couple months and it has been awesome! Everything has performed very well except there is a delay when pushing the gas pedal. Once you put it in low gear there is a lot of play in the pedal until the transmission kicks in. It also does it in reverse. Not sure if that is normal and from what I’ve been told it is. I am no mechanic. It definitely has been fun to play with as well as use it on the farm. I highly recommend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good machine My 2020 ranger 1000. Is a pretty nice machine easy to get in and out of. Ride is good. Power is good. There are a few cons the biggest being the exaust temp when u run it down the rod or on a trail hard the header pipe is glowing cherry red. HOT!! WInd shield was not put in correct and won’t shut. 600 miles in and the engine is making a ticking noise at a idle. Not sure I would trade my 900 in for it again if I had the chance to go back in time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful and fun, not necessarily in that order. I have had my ranger 1000 for about 6 months. First off, no issues. Starts, runs, works, plays, every time without fail. Uses so far have been hauling chainsaw and other gear, skidding small trees and tops I cut down, making clearing an overgrown piece of my land much easier. Plowed my 300 ft long driveway, about 12 ft wide, including a sizable parking area in front of my garage in short order. One time as much as a foot of snow had fallen before I got to it. No problem, just added some weight in the dump box and it was like plowing with a plow truck. As for the fun stuff, put your rifle in the cab and head up into the woods and do some hunting. My wife and myself have hit the old dirt roads and trails and had a great time. The grandkids think it’s great and my friends with ATVs are already out looking to upgrade to this useful, and fun machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome machine!! This is our second Ranger we have purchased for our farm. The first one we bought in 2002. The reliability and usefulness is why we bought a new one. So far my only complaint is I would like to see a parking break. We live in West Virginia and parking on hillsides is common but seems to be pretty hard on the transmission. With no more warranty that you get I am very concerned about the longevity of the park feature.

I'm very impressed and would defiantly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A ranch workhorse We have a ranch. The Ranger is a workhorse. My son has over 2500 miles on the Ranger. We use it to check fences, irrigate, move cattle, haul tools to fix center pivots, build water tanks and all work on the ranch. We can get to jobs that we cannot take our trucks. The Ranger has helped us with so many jobs. It is not for play. It is a true workhorse!

My previous machine( Kawasaki Pro FXR) I could not keep out of shop so before warranty ran out on it I traded up to the Polaris 1000 premium So far I’ve been pleased with my upgrade but since I had problems in the past I’m very hesitant to comment about the durability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So smooth, tons of power I bought this in May and have really enjoyed riding it. It's mostly for working on the deer lease, but have also been trail riding and let me tell you this thing has some power. I am very pleased with my decision. Power steering is unlike anything else, it turns on a dime and rides super smooth. My 2 year old wants to ride 24/7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little things I bought my 2020 SOHC 1000 on 3/6/2020. I previously had a 2010 XP800. The difference in ten years of improvement is amazing. Quieter and more powerful along with better turning radius and beefier steering components make it a much better machine. I haven’t had the machine long enough to not give it 5 stars for reliability.
Date published: 2020-06-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of power and good ride The ranger is still my choice for side by side. Plenty of towing power. Very fast when needed. Only negative that I find is the dead space on the accelerator pedal. I’m about to get use to it. Would not affect my purchase again though. Very pleased with performance. I have a Polaris 500 HO also and performance is similar.
Date published: 2020-09-23
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great ride but has a belt issue I love the Ranger but the stock 25" tires are the worst, they are too small and have almost zero traction in mud. The biggest surprise was how the drive belt can get wet and slip after a hard rain or when hosing off the Ranger. Several of us believe that water is getting into the belt housing via the belt exhaust vent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a great ride I like the ranger that I bought from whole shot in Fleming island they have great customer services I would recommend them to anyone and I would go back to buy another buggy from them do wish they came with a oil filter cap so it’s easier to do the job of a oil change but other then that I am glad I got a ranger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glad I bought it! Initially was looking at 570 and thought 1000 would be overkill(too big) for my wants/needs plus the price difference of the two. But after much internal debate I bought the 1000 non xp and I'm very happy and satisfied with purchase. * I've only owned ~3mons but i have tested it several times and it passed!*

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I could only have another!! This is the second Polaris I have bought. The first was an ATV and I loved it! I bought the Ranger more for working around the property and have loved it so far. I will be purchasing some pull behind implements for a little farming. The plow is awesome and a must have! Will be buying another at some point!

RANGER XP 1000
Starting at $16,999 US MSRP

Built for power and capability, to tackle any job and any trail. It's the toughest RANGER® yet.

2019 RANGER XP 1000 EPS SAGE GREEN is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 818.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-so I bought this 3 months ago and have put 1500 miles on it. The dust ingestion is horrible even after installing the cab seal kit. It has left me dead in the water one time due to a throttle pedal issue. The tires are cupping terribly. There is a loud clunk in the rear end every time I start moving and the machine is very jumpy in reverse.
Date published: 2018-10-22
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annoying vibration noise from rear end Not what I was expecting after all the changes. Have had nothing fail at this point, but there is a very annoying vibration from the engine area between 4000 and 5000 RPM’s. The dealer has “listened” for the noise one time, but could not identify and stated that if it continues, they will address it. It should have been corrected then, because it is getting worse and it’s annoying enough that I don’t even enjoy riding the unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not live up to price Considering the price I had to pay for my new Ranger, I must say it does not live up to what I paid for it. Had to return it to get the clutch adjusted properly which only shows poor quality control. One of my primary reasons for buying the Polaris Ranger was the tight cab system, however, after operating it in the rain a few times, it has leaked water in the upper right and left hand corners of the front window. For the price, I am severely disappointed. For the price I paid, EVERYTHING should work properly and the quality should be on par with the automotive industry and I should not have to run back and forth to the dealership at my own expense to keep getting things corrected. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for us! We live in Minnesota lakes country where our Ranger is legal on all County roads and all of the towns and villages near us. We opt for the Ranger on any journey, be it a late night ice cream run to the Cormorant Village or a gas can run to the local pump for boat gas. Our 16 year old daughter loves to ride where ever we go, family bonus time!! We have a premium cab with heat and on those cold summer night rides back from friends houses, the heat is on. Without the doors! Just enough to take the chill out of the cab. Doors are going on again soon, fall is in the air. We are fast approaching 1,500 miles and the Maxxis OE tires are showing little to no wear. A good share of our riding is on pavement, but we have tested our Ranger in a variety of conditions. Our first journey with our new Ranger was to the Black Hills and we were blown away by the capabilities. From mud, to rocks, to literally scary technical terrain our Ranger just flat out performed. The great staff at Wheels Inc in Fargo, ND set us up with this unit. The Sales staff, Parts team and Service crew are top notch!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sxs!!! Love the heat & A/C. Purchased this in late November and I have been very pleased w/ it. The heat and a/c have worked great!!! The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is due to the following items on it I am disappointed with. 1. Leaking windshield 2. Cab noise (seems loud to me) 3. Clutch engagement is lurchy when taking off 4. Ignition switch needs a accessory position (other Polaris sxs have it). 5. Seat isn't near as comfortable as my General seat was that I traded in. Other than those 5 things it has been an excellent sxs for me so far. I really enjoy it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific working machine as well as fun machine I've had the ranger for three months on my new property in the mountains I used it as a little pickup daily as well as the winch for moving things around. I've had no problems with it, maybe consumes a bit more gasoline than I expected, has great power handles fantastic on the trails - a little tippy when fully (over) loaded with wet logs. Lots of accessories available from third parties. Looks great too. Haven't owned it long enough to make a good guess about the reliability . Handling could be better if it had multiple modes there are ways to adjust the springs but that's insufficient and too difficult to address the extremes of hardcore off-road use and work around the farm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine. I picked my Ranger up in February. The first time I took it out to start putting some hours on it the temp. was 17 degrees! Boy, having heat and defrost made that day more enjoyable to start breaking in my new uni It got so warm in the cab that I had to stop and take my jacket off. Nice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cab and body design. Plenty of power. The design is nice I love the extra power. Can't seem to keep a 1,200.00 tilt windshield in 1 piece. Lots of fine metal in rest diff. And vibration/ noise in drivetrain. Also the toe out was so far out the front tires are worn heavily on the inside. I believe these things will be taken care of in time. ( sure glad I bought the extended warranty, looks like o will need it. This is my 3rd ranger and never had issues till now. I helped sell 2 more rangers, and they are having issues to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this side by side! This is my first side by side. I have owned 3 and 4 wheeled UTVs but never a side by side. My son has owned a few but I never have until now. My wife and I use it to ride and work around over our land mainly. It will also be used for hunting. I am a tall and big man so I love the room. It is easy to get in and out off compared to other models/brands. I like the power and the ride.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Minor problems Well I bought this and with only 700 miles a shock went back, for some reason shifting is hard, windshield leaks in rain other than that OK. I have a 2013 with 2700 hours and 12,000 miles and truthfully I do not see a big advantage with new machine.
Date published: 2019-09-09
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great upgrade from previous model. I’ve had my ranger for 4 months now. I like it. It has plenty of power and speed to do any task on the farm. I have one concern about the rear drive line. It seems the shaft’s input in to the rear differential has play in it and with the angle of the shafts it creates a jerking action and a “clunking” noise when starting off under power. No problems yet just a concern.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Frame I bought a new North Star. The frame was out of square causing the windshield to leak. long story shorter it's still in the shop after two months. Not working well for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall I bought mine back in the summer. I like the added features but the tires re not as good in mud as what I had on my old one. The unit also it difficult to get fully in height gear which probably is a linkage adjustment issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine! I bought my ranger about 3 months ago and wish I woulda bought one a lot earlier. I use it everyday, from work with the cows to on the farm to just joy rides with the my wife and kids. The north star edition was the perfect choice for us. Keeps us warm during the cold days and keeps us nice and cool on the hot days of summer! Definitely 100% happy with our Ranger!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Unit I bought my 2019 1000XP Polaris Ranger Northstar a few months ago. Really enjoying the ride and the full cab with heat and AC. I do think for as much as these units cost, a winch should be included. They do on the CanAm
Date published: 2019-12-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product just Ok I'm was very disappointed in the product. It is so load inside and makes a lot of gear noise for some reason. Also throttle response is poor and jerks. For the cost of this unit it is way over priced for what you get.
Date published: 2018-03-06
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Polaris went backwards with the NEW Ranger The dust is horrible compared to the last 2 Rangers I've owned. Seat belt retractor stopped working the day I brought it home. Tons of drive line noises and vibrations. Jerky clutching while descending a hill slow in any mode with it in Low or High. Took the zerk fittings out of the a-arms so already a lot of squeaking. Should have bought something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the power I bought my Ranger just before the snow started flying this winter. It's performing great and handling more snow than I every imagined. Now can't wait for the big melt so I can take it off-road.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its ok I bought my new Ranger 1000 XP Premium about a month ago or so, As I was researching the new machine, I expected more performance. I had the 2016 900 XP before and with the price difference to upgrade, it simply isn't worth the money in my opinion. I gained about 3 mph top end, and it doesn't seem to get there any faster. I had it in service within the first month for a recall that turned into a bigger clutch issue. It is now fixed and haven't had any issues since. Now for the good, the work mode is great! Its all around smoother and seems quieter. It is still a great tool for my Cattle and horses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our favorite toy for the whole family! Happiest and best purchase we ever made for my husband, myself and our dogs(they loved riding) until it was stolen right out of our yard from us one day after our first payment was made! We will be getting us another one down the road once this one is paid off since our insurance would not cover it! Talk about a depressing day. Definitely recommend the Polaris ranger though! This sunset red color is probably my favorite I’ve ever seen! Just keep it locked up even if you live in the country where you think you have nothing to worry about!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Ranger 1000 XP Over all a great machine. That being said the flip up seat is a bad design. Would not be surprised if they recall it at some point. Mine has already been replaced and has broke away from the frame again. The first one was broke at the dealer ship. The plastic screws, are not adequate enough to hold the seat to the frame. Other than that the black plastic was already faded bad on the Retail lot. New has been ordered. Waiting on it to come in from Polaris.

RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar Edition
Starting at $23,999 US MSRP

Great features of the RANGER XP 1000 with the factory installed RANGER Premium ProShield™ Cab and heating and air-conditioning system. Factory-Installed Packages Available.

2019 RANGER XP 1000 EPS NorthStar Edition Pearl White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 818.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ergonomic cab I upgraded from a 2017 Northstar. I’m pleased with all the updates. Smoother clutch for less jerky take offs. Better sealed cab, standard roll down windows, ac unit with less noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Ranger XP 1000 EPS NorthStar HVAC After much research and comparing features of many side by sides, I chose the Polaris Northstar HVAC Edition. It is very well built with plenty of power for pulling and climbing the hills. The cab is most comfortable with heating, air conditioning, and a quiet ride inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile mountain vehicle We purchased this vehicle to ferry friends up the mountain roads of our subdivision, figuring that a golf cart wouldn't be able to makr the climb. We were not disappointed! The ranger has lots of pep. We also found that it is a workhorse. It is small enough to go where my truck cannot. I can haul rocks, work tools, wood, or just about anything I can fit in the back, and the Ranger doesn't slow down! A must have for mountain dwellers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ranger crew 570 I bought this a couple months ago and hope to be able to pull a tiller behind it to do food plots. I've only used it a a handful of times. It seems to work well, however the second time I used it and times after that, it wouldn't start and noticed the battery cables were loose and not sure how to keep them tight. I would move them to get it to start but then they would become loose again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bang for your buck Bought it in September took it to the trails of northern Michigan. Went with a buddy that has a maverick I went everywhere he did no problem. One thing that upset me was this winter I checked the antifreeze and you couldn't see any in the radiator this thing has never leaked any fuild or been over heated. So dealer must have forgotten to fill out all the way before I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the job! We purchased our Ranger Crew 570-4 EPS a few months back in order to help out working around our property. I was concerned as to whether or not to buy the 900 series, but the 570 performs great. We don't use it to tear through mud holes or trail ride, but instead it is used to help with property maintenance. So far, I am impressed by the machine and would recommend it to others.
Date published: 2019-04-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me! Rarely do I use the Ranger off road, but when I need it off road it will handle it. No problems, easy to maintain, and dependable would be my description of the Polaris. I have taken four large adults off road with steep grades, mud and ruts without any problems other than nervous passengers commenting “you cant go there” the Ranger proved them wrong every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranger 570 crew I had been thinking about buying one but keep putting it off thinking I wouldn’t use it much because I live in town. But the truth is we use it for everything. We live in a small community so we take it to the store or if need to go to Walmart 20 miles over we ride it and I can ride it to work. We use it for everything we are glad we finally bought one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Daily workhorse We bought this a couple months ago for our non-profit equine and canine rescue farm. The barns are separated by half a mile, so need wheels. The Ranger has never failed me, and we are using for many things while improving the new farm. I did buy it without a windshield or top, but we have one now. The dogs, ears flopping in the wind, really liked riding in it without the windshield, but my wife wanted one because we have gotten a lot of rain, and mud. Have had minor issues with it not always being in gear in Reverse, when it says so, but jiggling the gearshift works to get actually in gear. There is enough power in this model for our needs, and we use the back carrying space a lot. Turning radius could be improved. Works well to carry a generator to run saws/augers as we are clearing fields or putting in fence posts. The horses have memorize the sound, and know that they are about to be fed, so it also works well as a dinner bell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid worker Been a couple of months now. First service self completed. All working as intended. Been mowing 5 acres with Swisher rough cut. Haul a ton of stuff on 20 acres. Just getting started and positive it will do everything we ask of it. Glad I did not go with another brand. HIGHLY recommended at least a Polaris roof. Massive difference.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My side by side I actually had done research and went in to dealership looking for Mule but salesman convinced me to purchase Polaris Ranger. Satisfied with couple of exceptions - no power steering makes hard to maneuver in tight spots. Also disappointed with power - under questionable load smell belt burn. Doesn't shift in gears smoothly.
Date published: 2018-03-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed review There are a couple design flaws. First, the turning radius is very wide, especially for a vehicle that might me in tight places. The floor board (or ?) doesn't cover the floor well, such that when going over a dirt or gravel road the cab gets quickly full of dust. Other than those two issues, we've enjoyed our UTV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride This was m first time purchasing a Polaris. The experience was so easy. The sales guy was very good. No high pressure. I LOVE it. It’s so much fun. My little grandkids like it to. Plus it’s great to us around our house. It’s dump bed is great and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to buy a UTV.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Ride! It is a law in multiple states that if your side by side is equipped with seat belts that you MUST use them. If this is the case then Polaris should make seat belt extensions, just like auto manufacturers. If this is law, there has to be something made available for plus size drivers and riders.
Date published: 2018-03-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine for the family I bought this machine 3 months ago and so far am very happy with it. I would like to have half metal doors rather than the net doors, which for me is the major dislike that I have. The machine handles great and with electric steering is easy to drive even with the bad shoulder that I have.

Haven’t heard anything about the bed and as soon as the coronavirus scare is over it has to go back for the clutch still hanging up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings I'm enjoying the unit for the most part. Two things that are taking away from the overall experience are: * Transmission - changing gears could be much smoother * There is a consistent high pitch ring when operating. Something similar to a tractor sound when the engine is started, but no one is in the seat or a car sound when the seat belt is not connected

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good machine. Bought this a couple months ago. Use it daily around our property. So far I have only 1 complaint, it needs a out 1 1/2 to 2 inches more ground clerance. I'm cleaning up behind loggers and occassionally have stumps drag the bottom. I will go up 2 inches on next set of tires, that should solve the problem. Overall I would (have) recommended this machine.

I had to go aftermarket lighting because no where near enough headlights. The dump bed shock/damper still not strong enough. The heat is excellent the full skid plate is a great improvement overall. This is my 6th Ranger its tough and reliable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable but We bought our Ranger XP 1000 2 months ago. We don’t use it a lot(20 hours) but when we do it gets a work out on the hills of our 94 acres. Couple of concerns: one of the nuts for a seatbelt connection came loose and is lost and transmission engagement seems rough. It takes a moment for the clutch to kick in and it’s not a smooth engagement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets our needs Purchased this 2019 Ranger XP100 crew in July. Great features and good ride. Have used it on our farm and have used it on some steep uneven terrain. Does very well. Only issue is gear shift. Since new, sometimes difficult to get into gear. Will address with our local Polaris dealer when we bring it in for its first scheduled service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't get parts The reason I bought it was to use it this summer. The air conditioner broke and we are still waiting for parts. Rubber straps broke to keep bumper closed. Polaris dealer tried to charge me a lot for a new bumper kit. They said only option. I found them for a lot less. The price difference was huge. They will not let me post how much. If you try riding with the windows down the cab immediately fills with dust. Completely covers the inside with enough dust so that you can't even see the color of the seats within 10 minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much better than Kubota I purchased my 2019 Northstar to use on my farm. I got it to replace a Kubota RTVX1100C. I like the crew cab feature but Polaris could improve a few things. The doors seem to constantly be out of adjustment and the delay in the shift to actual movement of the vehicle is not what I expected. The ride and low noise level is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All The Best Comforts While Off Road This is my fourth side by side and second that seats 4 or more. Love the cab and heating , A/C roll down windows. Not dust free but 99% better than out in the elements. Have added Lite Bar, 6000lb Winch and a rear vault. Very happy with the machine and get lots of questions when on the trails. Being a Crew model some of the narrow trail spaces are a bit more challenging but have been able to. go with the others. Only once had to back-up when I couldn't fit between two trees on a narrow corner without causing damage.

I ended up fixing it myself the fan was plugged up from the factory or dealership not to happy bought it in Columbia tn at Columbia powersports

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sealed cab for AC I have had my 2020 XP1000 Northstar Polaris for about 5 months now and it has been great. The sealed cab has been refined over past year models which helps the AC function much better. Very quiet inside the cab. The engine power is noticeably better and needed as the Northstar is heavier than other models. I had mine lifted and installed Highlifter a-arms all around and 29in tires on bead lock rims. The extra clearance comes in handy in backcountry running. The Ride Command is great feature that I like more and more as I use it. I also had an AudioFormz stereo top put on with extra sealing foam around all the contact points with the frame. This added to the sealed cab which resulted in better roof sealing. An overall great machine, couldn’t be more pleased with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice ride - better shifting than 2019 model This is the second Polaris 1000 Crew, I have a 2019 and this 2020 Texas Edition. Very nice ride. I like the self adjusting shocks. Plenty of power and speed, if needed. Polaris needs to revamp the dash storage system. Need a larger storage space up top for binoculars, etc. A large RTIC cup in the mid dash cup holder on the left will get in the way of shifting to high. You get a rap on the knuckles. The very large storage area in front of the passenger seat is mostly worthless. Catches way to much dust. Drain holes are too small allowing water to collect and dirt to settle instead of draining with the water. We took the storage area off and enlarged the holes and added more. Transmission will occasionally jump out of gear when driving. Very annoying. Another area for improvement is the tires. If you are going to build a Texas Edition, put tires on it that are more puncture proof than these 6 ply ones that catch every thorn on the trail. Make them Texas tough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love our Ranger! We bought the Ranger Crew about 3 months ago and have driven 30 hours. I love this machine in so many ways. It has all the power we need and fits my whole family of 6. Our dog loves the pass through under the front passenger seat, it is her favorite place to sit. The clearance is impressive and the suspension is UNBELIEVABLE until you have tried it. The only complaint I have so far is the shfit handle is sometimes very difficult to get from Park to Reverse or into Low or High. Everything else is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine I bought this Ranger Crew in May, 2020 replacing a 2014 Ranger XP 900. My new machine has power steering and a much smoother ride. My grandchildren appreciate the increased seating capacity. I am very pleased with my purchase. My local dealer and salesman were great to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cab is great Could use more power like the general stock. I had to install small lift so it wasn’t rubbing on everything. Could use more storage in cab areas. My rig has a rattle and dealer said that was not covered by warranty and I would have to live with it or wait for something to break

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for all around recreational We use it to load it up with ice chest, fishing poles, lunch for the day, hitch up the jet skis and head down to the sand bar with the family to play in the water all summer. Took it out to the local wheat fields dove hunting. This vehicle is a work horse. We love it!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock Solid Machine Picked up this machine in May. Originally planned on getting a 570 mid but with supply issues inventory was a problem. Picked up the Crew XP instead and couldn't be happier. Ride primarily on gravel, some primitive trails and work around the cabin and it's been great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another happy owner My 5th or 6th Ranger, including an EV model that I currently have, too. Great product. Some improvements needed in use of space in back seat. Could have used more storage there. Still hard to shift gears sometimes. More color choices would have been nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First year of new clutch needs some work I bought this Dec 24, 2019 it went in the shop in February for the clutch hanging up and not disengaging when you stop and a hole melted in the plastic bed. The dealer replaced the entire primary clutch and I filled out some questionnaire about the bed.
